    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The purpose of this job is to perform duties pertaining to collateral documentation to assure perfection of Trustmark’s lien position on consumer and commercial loans.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Process UCC and Deed of Trust/Mortgages to be recorded, continued, or released at state/county levels for all applicable states. This responsibility includes maintaining a file of daily letters</li>\n <li>Prepare payments (type checks) for filing fees of loan documents;   payments to attorneys and appraisers for services rendered. Deposit checks for fees. Order checks for the Notary/Recording Fees DDA</li>\n <li>Maintain log and mail documents via certified mail to customers when loans pay off secured by stock and Certificates of Deposits</li>\n <li>Process automobile applications and returns at state/county levels for all applicable states. This responsibility includes handling requests for insurance letter of guarantee on vehicles that are a total loss</li>\n <li>Rotate in the Collateral Vault to file documentation in the collateral files</li>\n <li>Assist co-workers with daily work as needed and assist with other duties as requested.</li>\n <li>Perform additional duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High school graduate </li>\n <li>Some college preferred</li>\n <li>Three to four years of contractual documentation experience within businesses such as banks, credit unions, legal firms, insurance companies, etc.</li>\n <li>General knowledge of loan collateral documentation and lien release requirements</li>\n <li>Overall banking knowledge with emphasis on loan operations</li>\n <li>Excellent communication skills/customer service skills</li>\n <li>Typing (Test – 35 wpm)</li>\n <li>Basic computer skills</li>\n <li>Organizational skills</li>\n <li>Detail oriented</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:  Must be able to sit for long periods of time and use computer keyboard and/or mouse, while viewing computer screens.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Note: This is a brief description of this position and is not limited to those described herein.
