Since 2017, we've served over</span><span> 30 million meals</span><span> and reinvested more than </span><span>$142 million</span><span> into local economies.</span></span></p>\n<p><span>Our work falls into three core areas:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><span>Building the Network</span><span>: We connect restaurants, community-based organizations, and food donors to deliver meals where they’re needed most.</span><span><br><br></span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><span>Setting the Example</span><span>: Through our Sustainable Community Kitchen, we demonstrate what dignified, community-centered food access can look like.</span><span><br><br></span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><span>Advocating for Change</span><span>: We champion policy and systems change to create a more sustainable, equitable food future for all.</span></span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><br><br>ROLE SUMMARY:</span><br>The Rethink Trucking Team supports transportation for our Commissary Kitchen, Rethink Certified Program and Rethink's in-kind donations. The Trucking Team Member responsibilities span both driving and food distribution assistance. <span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><br>Non-CDL hourly: $23-25 per hour<br>CDL hourly: $25-27 per hour <br><br>Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.<br>Please submit your application online. <br><br>RESPONSIBILITIES:<br></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Completes the pre and post route checklist every shift; communicates any issues to Supervisor</li>\n<li>Safely transports food from donor to kitchen and from kitchen to CBO, filling out all required paperwork needed to document these processes, following the standard operating procedures</li>\n<li>Ensures all food contact equipment used is clean, dry and organized before starting on route</li>\n<li>Returns food donor equipment on truck routes, ensuring it is in good condition </li>\n<li>Picks up Rethink equipment from CBOs and delivers back to the Rethink kitchen</li>\n<li>Supports Trucking and Culinary team when needed; storing food in the walk in refrigerator in accordance with regulatory agencies’ storage guidelines</li>\n<li>Maintains all safety guidelines; follows all traffic regulations, ensures trucks have gas and are operating normally throughout shift, follows Covid-19 protocol and wears appropriate PPE in the field</li>\n<li>Cleans trucks once a week </li>\n<li>Notifies Supervisor of any equipment breakage or issues throughout shift </li>\n<li>Performs other related duties as assigned. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\"><br>REQUIREMENTS:<br></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Valid Driver’s License from the Tri-State area and clean driving record </li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Minimum 3 years</span><span> </span>commercial driving experience</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">No more than one minor infraction on driving record in last 5 years </span></li>\n<li>Drivers are required to maintain a safe following distance at all times.</li>\n<li>Drivers are required to participate in driver training, including videos and in-person trainings as offered or otherwise, in accordance with company policy, which may be updated from time to time. </li>\n<li>Professional, reliable, enthusiastic</li>\n<li>Have a good attitude and willing to take instructions and work well with others</li>\n<li>Drive with caution and care</li>\n<li>Self motivated individual who takes initiative, and is always looking to grow and learn</li>\n<li>Ability to embrace an environment that is rapidly growing and changing to adapt to new business demands</li>\n<li>Must embrace the mission and core values of Rethink Food. </li>\n<li>Must be able to stand, bend, stretch, and lift, and carry heavy materials up to 50lbs </li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Please note: Rethink will conduct a motor vehicle report (abstract review) for all candidates considered<br><br><em>Rethink Food has a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy (with the exception of reasonable accommodation for religious or medical reasons).
