    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Position Summary:</strong></p><p>South Country Co-op is hiring customer service and detail oriented Hardware Clerk to join our team at Vauxhall Agro. If you’re passionate about customer service and working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment, this could be the opportunity for you!</p><p>Reporting to the Agribusiness Manager, the Hardware Clerk is responsible for delivering world-class customer service, assisting customers at checkout, operating the cash register, and ensuring the store remains clean, organized, and fully stocked.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Provide exceptional customer service in person and over the phone</li><li>Operate cash register and handle customer transactions accurately</li><li>Stock, face, and price products on shelves</li><li>Maintain clean and organized aisles and work areas</li><li>Load and unload merchandise for customers and suppliers</li><li>Support in receiving deliveries and restocking inventory</li><li>Practice good housekeeping and safety standards</li><li>Educate customers on the benefits of membership in South Country Co-op&nbsp;</li><li>Follow all safety procedures and company policies</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Must be at least 15 years of age and completed Grade 9</li><li>Retail or hardware/building materials experience is an asset</li><li>Experience in Agro or farming settings is considered an advantage</li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills</li><li>Proven ability to work well within multi-generational teams</li><li>Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and perform physical tasks safely</li><li>Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy</li><li>Flexible and adaptable to new technology and tools</li><li>High degree of integrity, work ethic, and professionalism</li><li>Friendly, positive attitude and a willingness to learn</li><li>Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing</li><li>Demonstrated tact and diplomacy in customer and team interactions</li></ul><p><strong>Work Schedule:</strong></p><p>This position requires availability from Monday to Saturday 8am-5pm</p><p><strong>Why Work with Us?</strong></p><p>At South Country Co-op, we value our team members and are committed to their well-being and success.
