Operating from our head office, warehouse, and purpose-built training centre in Hertford, we deliver high-quality electrical services while continuously developing and supporting our people.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The Role</span></p>\n<p>We are looking for an experienced and motivated Emergency Lighting Installation &amp; Servicing Engineer to join our growing team predominantly within London with the core hours being Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00. You will be responsible for carrying out emergency lighting testing, installation, and servicing across a variety of domestic and commercial properties, primarily within social housing and local authority sectors  </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience carrying out monthly, quarterly, and annual emergency lighting tests</li>\n<li>Capability to replace failed equipment (lamps, batteries, ballasts, gear trays, fittings etc.), including first-time rectification within self-certified limits</li>\n<li>Confident in documenting all work accurately using Oneserve and/or EasyCert</li>\n<li>Deliver excellent customer service and professionalism at all times</li>\n<li>Adhere to company policies and operational standards</li>\n<li>Take part in training and support continuous business improvement</li>\n<li>Carry out additional duties as required by management</li>\n<li>Work safely in accordance with current Health &amp; Safety regulations</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What We’re Looking For</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong knowledge of the electrical industry and emergency lighting systems</li>\n<li>Knowledge of SMART LED lighting systems</li>\n<li>Proven diagnostic and fault-finding ability</li>\n<li>Identification and reporting of failed equipment</li>\n<li>Ability to work as part of a team</li>\n<li>Accurate reporting and excellent attention to detail</li>\n<li>Confident using mobile devices to complete electronic job sheets</li>\n<li>Good practical skills and customer communication</li>\n<li>Positive attitude, reliability and good timekeeping</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What You Will Have</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>L3 Electrical Installations Diploma</li>\n<li>City &amp; Guilds NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical Qualification (desirable)</li>\n<li>AM2 Assessment (desirable)</li>\n<li>18th Edition Wiring Regulations (C&amp;G 2382-18)</li>\n<li>Knowledge of BS 5266 - Emergency lighting standards (desirable)</li>\n<li>Full UK driving licence (held for at least 12 months)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What We Offer</span></p>\n<p>At Fixatex, we believe great work deserves great rewards.
