That means making sure we have the best team available who believe that taking care of our staff is just as important to us as taking care of our patients.</em></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Summary of the Registered Nurse:</strong></p>\n<p>Provide nursing care to residents as prescribed by the physician and in accordance with standards of nursing practice and regulations, and as directed by the Director of Nursing.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements of Registered Nurse:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Registered Nurse with current FL state license.</li>\n <li>Must have a current/active CPR certification.</li>\n <li>Excellent technical, assessment and documentation skills.</li>\n <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li>\n <li>Able to stand and/or walk for more than four (4) hours per day.</li>\n <li>Able to bend and/or stoop for more than one (1) hour at a time.</li>\n <li><p>https://info.flclearinghouse.com/</p><p> </p><p> </p></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties & Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans.</li>\n <li>Prepare and administer (orally, subcutaneously, through an IV) and records prescribed medications. Report adverse reactions to medications or treatments in accordance with the policy regarding the administration of medications by a licensed registered nurse.</li>\n <li>Educate patients on surgical procedures.</li>\n <li>Record patients’ medical information and vital signs.</li>\n <li>Monitor and adjust specialized equipment used on patients and interpret and record electronic displays.</li>\n <li>Initiate corrective action whenever the patient displays adverse symptomatology.</li>\n <li>Provide bedside care for a wide variety of medical patients, including pre- and post-surgery patients.</li>\n <li>Change dressings, insert catheters, starts IVs.</li>\n <li>Participate in discharge planning.</li>\n <li>Record all care information concisely, accurately, and completely, in a timely manner, in the appropriate format, and on the appropriate forms.</li>\n <li>Other special projects and duties, as assigned.</li>\n</ul>",
