    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>Fortinet is looking for a Staff Software Dev QA Engineer to assist FortiADC Team</p>\n<p>The software development QA developer need to work with the developer team to deliver high quality of the Fortinet's product, and also responsible for building high effective automation test process to complete most of test work.</p>\n<p>Responsibilities:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases across all stages of the product development lifecycle.</li>\n <li>Perform both manual and automated testing for networking and load balancing features.</li>\n <li>Build and maintain realistic test environments, simulating diverse device types and network conditions.</li>\n <li>Develop and maintain scalable network simulation frameworks for performance and scalability testing using various protocols and tools.</li>\n <li>Conduct detailed root cause analysis and provide actionable insights to improve product performance and reliability.</li>\n <li>Collaborate closely with developers and QA team members to identify, reproduce, and resolve issues.</li>\n <li>Integrate new tools, techniques, and best practices into the QA process to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.</li>\n <li>Identify and document product risks, and contribute to release readiness decisions.</li>\n <li>Work alongside Development and TAC engineers to reproduce and analyze customer-reported issues.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>The QA Developer must be a quick learner,&nbsp;must be able to work efficiently and effectively, to identify defect and risk that should be addressed during development test and for release readiness.</p>\n<p>Requirements:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum 8+ years of&nbsp;<span>experience in network product QA testing.</span></li>\n <li>In-depth understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, SSL, OSPF, and BGP.</li>\n <li>Strong experience with test automation using Python, Shell scripting, and ideally Robot Framework.</li>\n <li>Proficiency with Linux/Unix operating systems.</li>\n <li><span>Hands-on experience with traffic generation and benchmarking tools such as Avalanche, Ixia, JMeter, or equivalent.</span></li>\n <li><span>Experience in API testing and writing automated test scripts for unit and integration testing.</span></li>\n <li><span>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.</span></li>\n <li><span>Strong problem solving and debugging skills with meticulous attention to detail and with a diligent mindset.</span></li>\n <li>Solid understanding of QA methodologies, testing types, and best practices.</li>\n <li>Experience with private cloud, such as VMware ESXI, KVM and etc.</li>\n <li>Experience with public cloud, such as AWS, GCP, Azure and etc.</li>\n <li><span>Experience with tools like Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform is a plus.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p>Education:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor degree or above in computer science, engineering, or a related technical discipline</li>\n</ul>\n<p>The US base salary range for this full-time position is $140,600-$171,800.
