The Team Leader will work with their assigned case managers to ensure that the behavioral health, primary care, dental care, and social connectedness needs of each individual receiving services are satisfactorily met.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><br></span></p></td></tr></tbody></table></div><p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><strong><u>Required Education and Experience</u></strong></span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><strong>Minimum Required Education</strong></span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Bachelor&#39;s degree from an accredited college/university in a Human Services field (Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field). One year of supervisory experience preferred.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><strong><u>Related Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</u></strong></span></p><ul><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Knowledge of the principles, procedures, techniques, trends, and literature related to mental health, developmental disabilities, and substance abuse.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Knowledge of treatment modalities and intervention techniques, such as behavior management,<br>&nbsp;independent living skills, training, supportive counseling, family education, crisis intervention, discharge planning, and service coordination.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Knowledge of clinical supervision requirements and techniques.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Knowledge of psychiatric/medical medications/treatments.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Effectively manage supervisee s&#39; performance, communicate expectations, and objectively rate the performance of assigned supervisees.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Develop reports, create presentations, and communicate findings to both internal and external audiences.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Communicate effectively in order to facilitate treatment and relay information to others as part of an interdisciplinary team.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Ability to participate in and successfully pass behavioral intervention training; includes both verbal de-escalation skills and physical skills techniques to be utilized with consumers as needed.</li><li style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Ability to drive and possess a valid driver&rsquo;s license. May be called upon to travel to any Horizon worksite; transport clients; provide services to clients at other locations.
