    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p><br></p><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>JOB PURPOSE:</strong></p><p>The Engineering Supervisor provides first-line technical and supervisory support for the Product Engineering team comprised of Product Design Engineers, Product Engineering Technicians, Product Design Engineering Architects, and R&amp;D Technician. This role bridges hands-on product technical work with team supervision.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><ul><li>Supervise engineering activities related to Product Drawings, Bills of Materials, CNC Programs, and Routings.</li><li>Support new product introduction (NPI) by ensuring engineering deliverables, documentation, and change controls are completed on time.</li><li>Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain to resolve technical issues affecting safety, quality, delivery, or cost.&nbsp;</li><li>Provide timely technical guidance for specifications, design interpretation, and custom product requirements.</li><li>Execute engineering tasks needed to produce drawings, BOMs, and Routings on an as needed basis.&nbsp;</li><li>Provide engineering support for daily production activities, including troubleshooting process issues, equipment problems, tooling, or quality defects.</li><li>Ensure adherence to corporate quality, safety, environmental, and industry regulations; promote a safe work environment.</li><li>Perform all other duties as assigned to support departmental operations and company objectives.</li></ul><p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</p><p><strong>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><ul><li>Provide daily leadership, direction, and coaching to engineering staff.&nbsp;</li><li>Assign daily/weekly tasks, manage workloads and priorities, and ensure team deliverables align with production needs.</li><li>Assign and prioritize work to balance business needs, project timelines, and resource capacity.&nbsp;</li><li>Support hiring, onboarding, performance management, skill development, and succession planning in partnership with HR.&nbsp;</li><li>Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching/mentoring.&nbsp;</li><li>Foster an accountable, collaborative, and inclusive engineering culture.</li><li>Model strong communication, collaboration, and professionalism to foster an inclusive, accountable culture.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>OBJECTIVES:</strong></p><ul><li>Provide input and feedback need to redefine Product Engineering Team role changes due to the implementation of a new ERP.</li><li>Collaborate with the Director of Engineering to establish key performance indicators such as engineering on time delivery, engineering change notice reductions, including the associated metrics.</li></ul><p><strong>COMPETENCIES:</strong></p><ul><li><strong><em>Ensures Accountability:&nbsp;</em></strong><em>Holds self and others responsible for meeting commitments, delivering high‑quality work, and following through on expectations; actively addresses performance gaps and reinforces standards of execution.</em></li><li><strong><em>Manages Complexity:&nbsp;</em></strong><em>Breaks down technical and operational problems into manageable parts; evaluates options using systematic analysis and applies sound judgment to determine effective solutions.</em></li><li><strong><em>Directs Work:&nbsp;</em></strong><em>Provides clear direction, assigns responsibilities, and removes obstacles to enable team members to perform; monitors progress and adjusts guidance to ensure successful outcomes.</em></li><li><strong><em>Plans &amp; Prioritizes Work:&nbsp;</em></strong><em>Organizes resources, people, and activities to efficiently achieve objectives; sets priorities based on business needs and adapts plans when constraints or changes arise.</em></li><li><strong><em>Collaborates:&nbsp;</em></strong><em>Builds productive relationships across teams and functions; shares information openly, seeks input, and works with internal and external partners to achieve shared goals.</em></li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:</strong></p><p><strong>Education:</strong></p><ul><li>Required- associate&rsquo;s degree in engineering or related technical field with continued technical education or technical courses.&nbsp;</li><li>Preferred- Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in engineering.</li></ul><p><strong>Experience and/or Training:</strong></p><ul><li>Required- 5 - 7 years in an engineering‑related role within a manufacturing environment.&nbsp;</li><li>Preferred- &gt;1 years of supervisory/leadership experience in a manufacturing engineering environment.</li></ul><p><strong>Licenses/Certificates:</strong></p><ul><li>Valid Driver&rsquo;s License.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Technology/Equipment:</strong></p><ul><li>Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD (or comparable CAD software), and Microsoft Office Suite.&nbsp;</li><li>Working knowledge of an ERP/MRP system</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS:</strong></p><p>Sitting for long periods of time, 6-8 hours per day. Walking, speaking, hearing seeing. Listen and observe the environment for hazard prevention. Use hands for tools and typing. Semi-frequently lift to 15 lbs. Some tasks may require the employee to bend, stoop, twist, and turn.</p><p><em>&nbsp;</em></p><p><strong>WORKING ENVIRONMENT:</strong></p><p>Office environment is temperature-controlled year-round, the plant environment is heated without air conditioning.</p><p>Manufacturing area requires PPE and adherence to OSHA General Industry Standards (29 CFR Part 1910).</p><p><br></p></div>\n",
