Your expertise will help shape cutting-edge systems, enhance national security, and drive technological advancement for our nation.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide engineering solutions for various and unique problem sets and customers in a government software hosting facility.</li>\n <li>Deploy and maintain physical and virtual hardware infrastructure, to include virtual machines and containers.</li>\n <li>Perform routine maintenance and configuration changes to various physical and virtual hosts.</li>\n <li>Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of hardware and software issues on servers, workstations, and IT equipment.</li>\n <li>Maintain system backups and disaster recovery plans.</li>\n <li>Manage user accounts and permissions.</li>\n <li>Deploy and maintain software applications.</li>\n <li>Troubleshoot technical issues.</li>\n <li>Maintain documentation to include knowledge base, incident response actions, system configurations, and other information related to system administration.</li>\n <li>Provide technical support to customers, ranging from resolving technical issues to providing guidance and best-practices.</li>\n <li>Secure information systems and applications to current DoD guidance</li>\n <li>Maintain configuration and security posture of information systems through continuous monitoring and routine security events/reporting.</li>\n <li>Participate in project planning using Agile methodology.</li>\n <li>Provide networking support to on-premises infrastructure.</li>\n <li>Understanding and familiarity of Linux operating system and virtual networking</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Active Secret with ability to obtain Top Secret (interim to start). Must be a U.S. Citizen</li>\n <li>CompTIA Sec+ </li>\n <li>Windows or Linux OS Certification </li>\n <li>at least 5 Years of experience in the below bullet points \n  <ul>\n   <li>Risk Management Framework (RMF) compliance experience a must (example: scanning and Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) execution)</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Desired skillsets: VMWare, Virtual Networking, System Backups, Networking, Containers, Active Directory experience</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Pay Transparency Statement</h2>AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $80,000.00/Yr. - USD $120,000/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
