Position The Director, Isotope & CDMO Sales is responsible for sales activities related to NorthStar Medical Radioisotopes’ products and services with primary responsibility for the Asia‑Pacific (APAC) region while based in the United States. This role focuses on developing and executing commercial strategies to support customer engagement, market development, and long‑term growth across key APAC markets, with a focus on China. The Director, Isotope & CDMO Sales will generate and develop opportunities, grow and maintain product utilization among targeted accounts, and build strong relationships with regional stakeholders, healthcare institutions, and industry contributors (e.g., key opinion leaders). Success in this role requires the ability to operate effectively across cultures, navigate differing regulatory and business environments, and communicate NorthStar’s value proposition clearly to diverse audiences. Responsibilities Prospect for and pursue new business within assigned APAC markets, negotiate and present contract proposals, and build solid customer advocacy while effectively communicating the value of NorthStar’s products and services. Develop and execute region-specific sales strategies for APAC markets, accounting for cultural, regulatory, and commercial difference. Drive commercial strategy and pipeline development for CDMO opportunities in the APAC region, including early engagement with emerging biotech programs, therapeutic innovation and long-term manufacturing partnerships. Develop productive, professional business relationships with all key segments and all key prospective product/service users and purchasing/industry influencers throughout APAC to ensure customer satisfaction. Collaborate with Marketing to develop culturally appropriate messaging and materials that support brand awareness and commercial success in APAC markets. Leverage knowledge of influential networks and affiliations (i.e. Medical and Professional Societies) to realize business objectives and expand industry-wide awareness of NorthStar’s isotope(s) and contract manufacturing service offerings. Maintain and grow market share within assigned territory and achieve a sales forecast while providing the data for internal sales and operational meetings. Communicate and participate in internal meetings with manager and commercial colleagues regarding progress, market dynamics, competitive landscape, customer feedback specific to APAC region. Learn, pass all assessments, and maintain a standard level of knowledge related to assigned job responsibilities. Attend industry trade shows and association meetings, including international engagements, as required. Early Development Establish a solid APAC commercial footprint by identifying priority markets, key customers, and near‑term revenue opportunities Build foundational relationships with strategic APAC customers and partners, developing credibility, trust, and regular engagement Advance readiness of long‑term isotope and CDMO programs by supporting customer alignment, opportunity qualification, and internal coordination Demonstrate the ability to translate APAC market dynamics into actionable insights, informing commercial strategy, customer approach, and pipeline development Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Health Science, or other related field and ten (10) or more years of proven successful pharmaceutical sales experience with demonstrated ability to work effectively across cultures and navigate regional business practices; or equivalent combination of education and industry experience. Experience supporting or selling into APAC markets, including China, within a regulated healthcare or life sciences environment is required, in addition to fluency in Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written). Strong understanding of APAC business culture, professional norms, and communication styles. Preferred qualifications include: Experience in the field of nuclear medicine, cell and gene therapy, or contract manufacturing is desirable. Proven experience reviewing, managing, and negotiating proposals and supply contracts.
