From confidently recommending menu items to processing payments and maintaining a clean, organized workspace, your role is key to delivering exceptional service that enhances both the dining and gaming experience at Live! Casino & Hotel.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Where You'll Make an Impact:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for: \n  <ul>\n   <li>Acknowledging guests in a friendly and timely manner.</li>\n   <li>Taking orders from guests, recommending food choices, and presenting food. </li>\n   <li>Acquiring and validating a method of payment for all food and beverage services.</li>\n   <li>Assisting in clearing tables, transporting dirty dishes and linen to a bus cart. Cleaning work station and wait stand at end of shift.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Enhances the gaming and dining experience of guests to Live Casino, with prompt, efficient, service and interaction with guests.</li>\n <li>Help with the execution and delivery of In-Room Dining orders when applicable.</li>\n <li>Inputs and controls ordering through register during each transaction maintaining accountability as well as receipts to guests for all beverages served.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Skills to Help You Succeed:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Use fountain soft drink, tea and coffee machines.</li>\n   <li>Read and write basic instructions.</li>\n   <li>Communicate effectively with others; understands and complies with all Company and departmental rules and regulations.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Ability to organize and be creative. </li>\n <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li>\n <li>RAMP certified.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Alcohol Beverage Control laws, health regulations, and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).</li>\n   <li>Sanitation and health department regulations for safe handling of food.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Must-Haves:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred. A high level of customer service training would be a plus.</li>\n <li>One (1) to three (3) years of experience in casual, buffet and/or fine dining restaurants.</li>\n <li>Must be able to obtain and maintain the necessary license as mandated by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency. </li>\n <li> Alcohol Beverage Card is required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Stand and walk continually throughout a scheduled shift.</li>\n   <li>Bend, stoop and reach while carrying dishes, glasses and serving tray.</li>\n   <li>Push bus cart and carry trash/linen bags weighing up to 35 pounds.</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Use of stairs and elevators</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Working Conditions:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>24/7 high energy casino with over 300,000 sq. ft of gaming and entertainment space and approximately 3000 employees.</li>\n <li>Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.</li>\n <li>You will work in an environment where smoking is allowed.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What We Offer</h2>\n<p><strong>Perks We Offer You</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Comprehensive group health benefits for full-time and part-time Team Members and their eligible dependents.
