    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Title: Civil &amp; Mechanical QC Inspector (Lead Experience Preferred)</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Open Positions:</span> 1</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Scope of Work / Responsibilities</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead and perform Mechanical &amp; Civil QC inspection activities with minimal supervision.</li>\n<li>Ensure all Civil and Mechanical ITP stages are followed, verified, and properly documented.</li>\n<li>Read and interpret construction drawings, P&amp;IDs, isometrics, structural drawings, and specifications accurately.</li>\n<li>Demonstrate strong knowledge of applicable Civil &amp; Mechanical codes, standards, and project specifications.</li>\n<li>Conduct surveillance, witness points, and hold points as per QC plans and contractor schedules.</li>\n<li>Monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with approved procedures and quality requirements.</li>\n<li>Identify, document, and report Non-Conformances (NCRs); follow up on corrective/preventive actions.</li>\n<li>Coordinate with subcontractors and construction teams to resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.</li>\n<li>Perform mechanical checks/tests such as dimensional inspections, fit-up and weld quality verification (if applicable), and civil tests including compaction, concrete placement, and rebar checks.</li>\n<li>Maintain accurate and organized QC documentation, logs, checklists, and reports.</li>\n<li>Ensure timely completion and submission of all inspection reports, test records, and related documentation.</li>\n<li>Provide guidance and mentorship to junior inspectors when required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Location: Fort Saskatchewan, AB</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Start Date:</span> June 24, 2026 <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Duration: 8 months - 1 year</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Hours of Work:</span> 10 Hours a day (5 on x 2 Off)</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required Skills &amp; Qualifications</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Civil or Mechanical Degree/Diploma OR CCIL-certified technician.</li>\n<li>Hands-on construction or industrial site experience strongly preferred.</li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of Quality Inspection procedures, tools, and test equipment.</li>\n<li>Ability to interpret and apply Civil &amp; Mechanical codes and standards.</li>\n<li>Proficient computer skills, including MS Office and digital QC documentation tools.</li>\n<li>Strong commitment to safety and adherence to site safety practices.</li>\n<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with contractors and project teams.</li>\n<li>Self-motivated, organized, and capable of performing under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</li>\n<li>Previous lead or senior QC experience is an asset and preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>_____________________________________________________________________</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Additional Information:</span></p>\n<p>This job opening not only provides an excellent opportunity for qualified professionals in Quality Control but also serves as a platform for future opportunities within our company.
