Your work directly supports production uptime, safety, and operational efficiency.</p><p><br></p><p>If you are mechanically strong, comfortable troubleshooting independently, and want steady industrial work with long-term opportunity, we want to meet you.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Compensation &amp; Schedule:</strong></p><ul><li>Starting Wage: $28.00/hr ($1.30/hr more for nights)</li><li>Rotating 3-2-2-3 Schedule (on for 3, off for 2, on for 2, off for 3)</li><li>Days: 4:45am-5:00pm / Nights: 4:45pm-5:00am ($1.30 shift differential applies)</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p><ul><li>Medical insurance (Co-pay plan and HDHP) with substantial company contribution.</li><li>Company paid dental and vision (with medical enrollment)</li><li>Health Savings Account (HSA) with employer contributions</li><li>Flexible Spending Account (FSA) medical and dependents accounts</li><li>Employer paid life and disability insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Paid holidays (including your birthday!)</li><li>401k with company match</li><li>Annual clothing allowance</li></ul><p><strong>What to Expect:</strong></p><ul><li>In this hands-on, high-impact role, you will manage the maintenance and repair of all rolling stock and mobile machinery</li><li>Maintain and repair forklifts, trucks, trailers, and other yard equipment</li><li>Diagnose mechanical issues and coordinate or perform repairs</li><li>Maintain service schedules and inspection logs for all vehicles</li><li>Ensure safety compliance for mobile equipment</li><li>Source parts and manage repairs (in-house or vendor-coordinated)</li><li>Collaborate with Maintenance and Production teams to minimize downtime</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><p>Required:</p><ul><li>Strong mechanical background (vehicles, trailers, hydraulics, or industrial equipment)</li><li>3+ years of hands-on mechanical experience</li><li>Ability to inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot all kinds of gear</li><li>Comfortable in an industrial environment (heat, noise, heavy machinery)</li><li>Solid communication and organizational skills</li><li>Strong work ethic and ownership of your responsibilities</li></ul><p>Preferred:</p><ul><li>Welding or fabrication skills</li><li>Experience working on DOT-regulated vehicles</li><li>Familiarity with maintenance tracking systems (CMMS)</li><li>CDL or forklift certification</li></ul><p><strong>Why Work With Us?</strong></p><p>At Spectro Alloys, we’re leading the way in aluminum recycling- and none of it works without the gear that keeps our operations moving.
