You&rsquo;ll be responsible for designing custom products and coordinating the manufacturing process from concept to completion. The role involves completing assigned tasks within set deadlines, supporting other engineers with their projects, and applying technical expertise to meet customer and production needs.</p><p id=\"isPasted\">&nbsp;<strong>Essential Functions:</strong></p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Ensure deliverables are executed timely fulfilling customer demand by using project management skills.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Coordination of tasks between sales, QA, production, and customers</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Interact as technical liaison and forward facing with customers.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Coordinate NVH testing/geometry specification adherence to customer specifications</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Facilitate problem solving for best solution and application of product.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Provide new order quotation technical support</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Conduct product research, testing and development</p><ul><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Use of Finite Elements Analysis to aid in prediction of clamp loading characteristics.</li><li>Develop the best choice of materials based on customer application requirements.</li></ul></ul><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Meets regularly with engineering/quality and sales identifying trends, projections, and customer development possibilities for the aerospace industry.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Interact with departments within Clampco Products.&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Production:<ul><li>Authorized to disposition scrap/finished parts</li><li>Assist in authorizing reworks</li></ul></li></ul><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Introduce and/or improve technologies in terms of quality, cost and robustness in collaboration with the production team.&nbsp;</p><ul><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Change management of current product offerings based on demand.&nbsp;</li><li>Provide technical support to the sales team.&nbsp;</li><li>Technical review of new specifications and revision changes with design team</li></ul></ul><p><strong>Education and Experience Requirements</strong>:</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in engineering, materials science, or related field required.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>2 or more years of practical experience working in technical development with aerospace materials and/or in the clamping industry is highly preferred.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Other manufacturing experience as a product engineer in other industries will be considered.&nbsp;</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Experience of presenting solutions to customers and leading technical discussions.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Able to read/ interpret prints, prepare design/ CAD/route plan and offer design solutions.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams.</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Ability to think like an owner under Clampco&rsquo;s ESOP philosophy</p><p><strong>Work Environment:</strong></p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</span>Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., onsite with some flexibility</p><p>&bull;<span style=\"white-space:pre;\">&nbsp;
