The Mechanical Engineer role is based in our New York City office..<br>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>As a Mechanical Engineer you will be part of a dynamic and experienced team that drives innovation, quality, and client satisfaction across all aspects of building design. &nbsp;Suitable candidates need to possess knowledge and experience for all phases of building design, including construction administration and commissioning. &nbsp;</p><p>This is a full-time role which qualifies for four days in the office and one day remote.</p><p><strong>Primary Duties:</strong></p><ul><li>Troubleshoot and execute assignments for multiple projects in a timely manner.</li><li>Effectively and collaboratively work across multiple departments and stakeholders to help gather requirements, plan and execute project requirements.</li><li>Draft and document equipment and processes to ensure seamless manufacturability of projects.</li><li>Document operational intent and maintenance requirements for the end user.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain accurate records of design changes and project progress.&nbsp;</li><li>Participate in onsite client visits including and not limited to project scope walks, meetings, testing, commissioning, startup support, and trouble shooting.&nbsp;</li><li>Assist with client proposals and Proposal development</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications and Skill Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>7-10 years of experience&nbsp;</li><li>Professional Engineer (PE license) preferred</li><li>Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD</li><li>Strong knowledge of applicable codes</li><li>Detail-oriented</li><li>Ability to take direction and act independently</li><li>Ability to work as part of a team.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay organized</li><li>Experience solving complex problems with little to no supervision and on schedule as an individual or as a member of an integrated team</li><li>Experience in the management and execution of multiple projects in Revit and AutoCAD</li><li>Excellent technical, presentation and client interface skills</li><li>Up to date with advancements in mechanical engineering technology and techniques</li><li>Seek opportunities to innovate and improve existing designs and processes</li></ul><p><strong>Education Requirement(s):</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in mechanical engineering, or related field, from a 4-year accredited college or university.</li></ul><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Bala offers comprehensive benefits:</strong></p><ul><li>Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance package</li><li>401(k) with employer match</li><li>Employer Paid Life Insurance</li><li>Up to (5) weeks of PTO based on years of experience and (8) paid holidays &nbsp;</li><li>8 hours of Volunteer Time Off</li><li>Tuition and Licensure Reimbursement</li><li>Federal Student Loan Assistance including match up to $5,250 per year</li><li>Section 529 Plan (College Saving Plan)</li><li>Employee Referral Program</li><li>Full-time onsite roles qualify for one day remote work</li></ul><p>BALA&rsquo;s compensation package includes a rich benefits package along with market competitive salary structure.
