    "description": "<h2>Description</h2>\n<p>Markon is seeking a Configuration Manager Level 2 to support the design, integration, testing, deployment, training, and sustainment of packet-based hardware and software systems for the Fort Meade Customer. This role provides configuration management support across the system lifecycle while assisting with the integration of Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) and Government Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) technologies. The position supports system reliability, configuration control, and operational readiness for mission-critical communications and technology environments.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Support configuration management activities throughout the system lifecycle, including baseline management, change control, and configuration audits</li>\n <li>Assist in the design, integration, testing, deployment, training, and sustainment of packet-based hardware and software systems</li>\n <li>Maintain system configuration documentation, engineering baselines, and technical records</li>\n <li>Support the integration of COTS and GOTS hardware and software solutions</li>\n <li>Track and manage system changes to ensure configuration integrity and compliance with established processes</li>\n <li>Assist with system testing, validation, troubleshooting, and deployment activities</li>\n <li>Coordinate with engineering, operations, and program teams to support system integration efforts</li>\n <li>Develop and maintain configuration management plans, procedures, and related documentation</li>\n <li>Support technology refresh and modernization initiatives</li>\n <li>Ensure system configurations are accurately documented and maintained throughout operational deployment</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph with ths customer </li>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field required</li>\n <li>14+ years of experience in configuration management, systems integration, systems engineering, or related technical disciplines</li>\n <li>Experience with configuration management processes, change management, and baseline control</li>\n <li>Experience supporting the design, integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment of packet-based systems</li>\n <li>Experience with COTS and GOTS hardware and software solutions</li>\n <li>Experience maintaining engineering documentation, configuration records, and technical baselines</li>\n <li>Familiarity with systems engineering lifecycle processes and configuration management best practices</li>\n <li>Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills</li>\n <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li>\n <li>Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, mission-focused technical environment</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Salary Range</h2>USD $80,000.00 - USD $100,000.00 /Yr.The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
