Let our craftsmen create the metal products you need.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Overview: </span>Joining a dynamic team of sheet metal fabricators, our CNC operators bring their specialized skills and experience to some of the most unique metal fabricating projects in the area. This is not a typical, “stand and push a button” CNC job. In our shop, you’ll play a hands-on, integral role in building commercial duct work and other metal fabrication projects.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Read and understand basic drawings</li>\n<li>Follow manufacturer’s guidelines for operating all machinery</li>\n<li>Follow the procedure to turn equipment on and off</li>\n<li>Set up machinery for production</li>\n<li>Load metal into machine from coil or sheet</li>\n<li>Measure and verify all calculations prior to setting up the machinery</li>\n<li>Enter all relevant codes to specify the speed and desired finishes</li>\n<li>Make machine adjustments, change nozzles, lenses and make machine adjustments</li>\n<li>Monitor equipment while operating</li>\n<li>Maintain a clean and organized working environment</li>\n<li>Complete routine maintenance of all machinery</li>\n<li>Follow all safety protocols and procedures</li>\n<li>Other duties as assigned by management</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Skills &amp; Requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>1-3 years of CNC machine operating experience</li>\n<li>Must be able to operate a laser, press brake, sheer, and a Fabriduct coil machine for cutting/bending metal (training provided)</li>\n<li>Must be mechanically inclined and be able to understand how a complex machine works and make adjustments when needed</li>\n<li>In-depth knowledge of computer and information systems</li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail</li>\n<li>Excellent organizational and time-management skills</li>\n<li>In-depth knowledge of metal machinery</li>\n<li>Excellent reporting and analytical skills</li>\n<li>Deep understanding of mechanics and mathematics</li>\n<li>Ability to interpret 3D drawings and orthographic projection</li>\n<li>Requires the ability to use a phone and tablet to input data, such a timecard information, emails, etc.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Location:</span> 218 East Lathrop Avenue, Savannah, GA 31415</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Working Environment:</span> Work is typically performed while standing, in a limited-climate-controlled machine shop.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Salary: </span>Starting at $22/hour, but depends on experience and skill level</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Benefits: </span>Delta Metals has a generous benefits package to include Medical, dental, vision, life, long and short-term disability, as well as accident, cancer, and critical illness plans, HSA, 401K, Vacation &amp; sick time, and 6 paid company holidays.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>It is the policy of Delta Metals, Inc. not to discriminate against any applicant for employment, or any employee because of age, color, sex, disability, national origin, race, religion, or veteran status.</em></p>",
