This includes supervising staff, ensuring high-quality programming, and maintaining consistent communication with families. The following is a list of key responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned as needed.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Program Leadership &amp; Oversight</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Oversee overall ECP program operations at the school site, including scheduling, planning, and coordination of daily activities in partnership with the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP) Manager</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Coordinate the use of classrooms and shared spaces for ECP, enrichment, and other after school programming</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Perform other related duties as assigned</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Staff Supervision &amp; Support</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Supervise, coach, and support ECP staff in delivering engaging, developmentally appropriate academic, enrichment, and recreational programming</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Communicate effectively and professionally with ECP staff, Principal, ELOP Manager, enrichment providers, and families</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Family &amp; Community Engagement</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Serve as the primary point of contact for parents and guardians, providing regular updates about the program and student experience</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Collaborate with school-day staff to support student behavior and continuity of care, particularly when behavioral challenges extend into the after school program</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Student Support &amp; Culture</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Ensure a safe and supportive environment for students and staff</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Foster an inclusive and supportive environment for a diverse student population, using restorative practices and culturally responsive approaches to build community and address behavior</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">Operations &amp; Administration</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Maintain and order site supplies and equipment as needed</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Keep accurate and up-to-date records, including student attendance, snack sheets, and staff timecards</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Monitor and collect late fees</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Maintain cleanliness and organization of all spaces used during after school hours</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Responsible for closing and securing the school site at the end of the day</span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\"><br><br></span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">QUALIFICATIONS</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(32, 33, 36); font-size: 10pt\">High school diploma</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(32, 33, 36); font-size: 10pt\">Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is a plus</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(32, 33, 36); font-size: 10pt\">Experience working in camps or afterschool programs in a leadership role</span></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(32, 33, 36); font-size: 10pt\">Basic computer skills including Google Suite applications</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(32, 33, 36); font-size: 10pt\">Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally both orally and in writing</span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">; fluent in English</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Ability to speak Spanish, Mandarin, or other secondary language is a plus</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Strong organizational, time management and multitasking skills</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Superb interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively with individuals from a variety of backgrounds</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Flexibility and adaptability to change; ability to work in a dynamic, creative, and start-up learning environment</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: rgb(32, 33, 36); font-size: 10pt\">Belief and commitment to Yu Ming’s mission and core values</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">11 Months; Opportunity to work over during school breaks (Summer and October) </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-weight: bold\">TIME COMMITMENT</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">180-day school year, 8 student-free professional development days for collaboration with colleagues.
