    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Purpose</strong></p><p>The Aircraft Parts Expeditor is responsible for tracking, coordinating, and facilitating the on-time delivery of materials, parts, and components required to support aircraft completions, refurbishment, and maintenance programs. This role plays a critical function in aligning supply chain activity with production schedules and program milestones by ensuring that internal teams and external suppliers meet delivery commitments. In addition to expediting activities, the Expeditor supports inventory management, warehouse operations, and local material procurement by driving company vehicles to pick up and deliver parts, materials, and supplies. This position helps maintain operational continuity by proactively identifying shortages, managing inventory accuracy, and ensuring materials are available when and where they are needed.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Essential Job Functions</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li>Monitor open purchase orders and expedite materials, parts, and components to meet required need dates.</li><li>Coordinate with suppliers, buyers, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely material delivery.</li><li>Proactively follow up on delayed or at-risk shipments and escalate critical shortages to leadership and program teams.</li><li>Drive company vehicles to pick up and deliver parts, materials, tooling, and supplies from local vendors, suppliers, freight carriers, and customer locations as needed.</li><li>Perform emergency and same-day material runs to support aircraft production schedules and operational requirements.</li><li>Receive, inspect, verify, and distribute incoming materials to appropriate departments and work centers.</li><li>Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, inventory audits, and physical verification of stock levels.</li><li>Assist with inventory management activities including stocking, issuing, tracking, and replenishing materials and consumables.</li><li>Update and maintain accurate records in ERP or MRP systems related to order status, inventory transactions, lead times, and delivery confirmations.</li><li>Communicate material status updates to planning, warehouse, and production teams to support schedule alignment.</li><li>Collaborate with receiving and quality control teams to resolve delivery discrepancies, missing documentation, or inspection delays.</li><li>Identify supply chain bottlenecks and contribute to corrective actions to improve material flow and inventory availability.</li><li>Participate in daily or weekly shortage meetings, program reviews, and material readiness meetings.</li><li>Assist with prioritization of incoming materials to support urgent or high-priority aircraft programs.</li><li>Coordinate with logistics providers on shipment tracking, freight expediting, and resolution of shipping exceptions.</li><li>Ensure proper handling, storage, and traceability of aircraft parts and materials in accordance with company procedures and FAA requirements.</li><li>Support internal audit readiness by ensuring documentation accuracy and traceability of expedited and inventoried items.</li><li>Perform administrative tasks associated with expediting, inventory control, and material management activities, including reporting and database maintenance.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Minimum Qualifications or Experience</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li>High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree or relevant technical training preferred.</li><li>2&ndash;4 years of experience in supply chain, materials coordination, inventory control, warehouse operations, or expediting.</li><li>Valid driver&#39;s license with a clean driving record and ability to operate company vehicles.</li><li>Strong understanding of material flow, inventory management, lead times, and purchase order processes.</li><li>Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications or Experience</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li>Experience in aviation completions, MRO, aerospace manufacturing, or aircraft maintenance environments.</li><li>Familiarity with ERP or MRP systems (SAP, Corridor, Oracle, Quantum, or similar).</li><li>Knowledge of aircraft parts, vendor processes, and FAA traceability requirements.</li><li>Familiarity with shipping, receiving, logistics, and freight coordination.</li><li>Experience performing inventory cycle counts and warehouse inventory management.</li><li>Working knowledge of Excel, inventory management software, and reporting tools.</li><li>Forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment preferred.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Supervisory Responsibilities</strong></p><p>This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Knowledge, Skills, and Other Attributes</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li>Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills to coordinate across vendors and internal teams.</li><li>Attention to detail and accuracy in tracking part numbers, inventory levels, delivery dates, and documentation.</li><li>Proactive problem-solving mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.</li><li>Strong customer service orientation and commitment to supporting production operations.</li><li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.</li><li>Collaborative, team-oriented attitude with a commitment to cross-functional alignment.</li><li>Ability to remain flexible and responsive to changing production and material priorities.</li><li>Familiarity with aviation safety, compliance, and quality requirements in a regulated environment.</li><li>Strong sense of urgency and accountability for material availability and operational support.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Travel</strong></p><p>Local travel is required to support vendor pickups, freight collection, material deliveries, and operational needs.
