    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/23.6.28/styles/froala_editor.pkgd.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\"><div><p><strong>ABOUT THE POSITION:</strong></p><p>The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for operating all aspects of the auto shredder, material handler (excavator), and wheel loader to safely move material throughout our yard including inspection, and routine maintenance. &nbsp;Also required is the ability to read, write, interpret documents and communicate effectively; and regular and reliable attendance.</p><p><strong>ABOUT YOU:</strong></p><p>Previous experience operating larger material handling equipment is required. &nbsp;Willingness to be teachable and trainable in the safe operation of our equipment. &nbsp; Must possess the ability be reliable, trustworthy and a team player. &nbsp;</p><p><strong>MORE DETAILS:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Perform equipment safety check according to checklist.</li><li>Check all equipment fluid for proper levels and back-up alarm for proper operating condition. &nbsp; Add fluid as needed.</li><li>Perform lubrication and other daily service activities according to procedures.</li><li>Start equipment and check gauges for proper operating status.</li><li>Making lifts to assist maintenance in their repair process.</li><li>Operate material handler and/or end loader to load/ unload trucks and rail cars, and feed scrap processing equipment, according to company and safety procedures.</li><li>Switch railroad cars at direction of ground person.</li><li>Follow shut down procedures at end of shift according to daily checklist.</li><li>Perform routine maintenance service according to maintenance manual.</li><li>Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documentation, etc.</li><li>Follow and comply with all safety and work regulations. &nbsp;Maintain departmental housekeeping standards.</li><li>Plan work sequences to ensure the most effective completion of work assignments.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/23.6.28/styles/froala_style.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\" id=\"isPasted\"></p><div><div><link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/23.6.28/styles/froala_editor.pkgd.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\"><p><strong>ABOUT US:</strong></p><p>Alter Trading is looking to add to its Peoria, IL Area team.
