Deliveries are to be done safely and within the State and Federal guidelines.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Location</strong></p><p>This position will be performed onsite at our store. Remote work is not available for this role.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Outcomes for Success</strong></p><ul><li>Load, deliver, and unload materials as a service to customers.</li><li>Prevent damage and ensure customer satisfaction.</li><li>Operate various types of equipment and vehicles in a safe and professional manner.</li><li>Report vehicles and equipment needing service and repair.</li><li>Maintain necessary trip logs, vehicle inspection reports and other required documentation.</li><li>Drive truck to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations, knowledge of the roads in the area and being aware of hazardous conditions.</li><li>Verify load against shipping papers.</li><li>Prepare receipts for load picked up and for returns.</li><li>Assist in keeping the yard clean and orderly. Report any unsafe conditions.</li><li>Assist in building loads, as required.</li><li>Develop an understanding of basic products and commodities.</li><li>Maintain telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions.</li><li>May perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><p>Benefits are an important part of overall compensation.
