Our core competencies include (but are not limited to): </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Program analysis, including program understanding, vulnerability identification, and remediation </li>\n <li>Malware analysis and reverse engineering </li>\n <li>Resilient networking in support of cyber mission goals </li>\n <li>Software-defined networking for cyber defense and deception </li>\n <li>Artificial intelligence (reasoning, probabilistic inference, machine learning)</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum of 8 years of experience with BS/BA; 6 years with MS/MA; 3 years with PhD</li>\n <li>Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or related scientific/engineering discipline.</li>\n <li><strong>Expertise in reverse engineering and digital signal processing</strong></li>\n <li>Ability and desire to quickly acquire knowledge of new subject matter areas</li>\n <li>Expertise in one or more of: C, C++, Java, Python, Go, or similar languages</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of Linux, MacOS, Windows, and mobile operating systems, platforms and internals</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of modern computer networking technologies</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of modern development practices and toolsets (Git, subversion, CI/CD toolchains)</li>\n <li>Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility</li>\n <li>US Citizenship</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Other Relevant Skills (not required, but any are a plus):</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience as a technical lead on software development projects or research teams</li>\n <li>Experience as a Principal Investigator on DoD/IC research projects</li>\n <li>Experience in business development, including technical marketing, idea generation, and authoring whitepapers and proposals for new work.</li>\n <li>Experience in one or more of the following areas:</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <ul>\n  <li>Program Analysis</li>\n  <li>Computer networking protocol design and/or analysis</li>\n  <li>Computer and network emulation, containerization, and virtualization</li>\n  <li>Reverse Engineering</li>\n  <li>Real-Time Operation Systems (RTOS)</li>\n  <li>Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA)</li>\n </ul>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with one or more of the following classes of tools and frameworks:</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Binary Analysis Tools, such as GHIDRA, Hex-Rays IDA, Binary Ninja, Angr,</li>\n   <li>Debugging and Sandboxing tools, such as Cuckoo sandbox, OllyDBG, WinDbg</li>\n   <li>CNO toolsets, including Metasploit, Cobalt Strike</li>\n   <li>Network emulation frameworks including CORE, EMANE, MiniNet</li>\n   <li>Container and Orchestration solutions, including: Docker, Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, Terraform</li>\n   <li>Cloud services experience (AWS, Azure, OpenStack) </li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with DevOps and Agile development methodologies</li>\n <li>Experience in the U.S. DoD/IC research community</li>\n <li>CNO operational experience</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Peraton Overview</h2>\n<p>Peraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
