    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Job Title: PCB Design Engineer</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Job Location: Melville, NY (100% onsite)</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Salary: $100,000-$125,000/yr DOE </strong></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform the detailed design of RF, analog and digital circuit card assemblies and printed circuit boards (PCB’s) to meet industry standards.</li>\n <li>Review customer’s requirements with engineers to determine the practicability and feasibility relative to performance, cost, time, etc.</li>\n <li>Coordinate with engineers to establish the basic design approach on a project.</li>\n <li>Provide technical advice and guidance to engineers, designers and drafters in matters related to the final product design and in accordance with the established designed perimeters.</li>\n <li>Advise and coordinates cost reductions as related to design and fabrication.</li>\n <li>Provide liaison outside the company with suppliers to accomplish PCB design functions.</li>\n <li>Assist in proposal preparations relative to PCB design and drafting material cost, manpower hours, schedules, etc.</li>\n <li>Responsible for establishing and maintaining files including schematics, parts lists, assembly drawings and PCB routing drawings and reproductions and records necessary to the orderly operation of document control and design-drafting.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent and a minimum of 9 years prior experience or Master’s degree and a minimum of 7 years prior experience.</li>\n <li>5-10 years’ design experience</li>\n <li>Skills preferred: single layer/multi layer boards, surface mount technology, hybrid technology</li>\n <li>5 years of electrical, mechanical, and/or electro-mechanical design experience of which a minimum of two years have been PCB design work on DC circuits and/or RF design work preferred.</li>\n <li>Costpoint, ERP systems, Microsoft Office proficiency. Mentor PADS and Logic or equivalent required. Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD a benefit.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Stellant Systems is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
