Working exclusively with The Kidz Club PPEC. Transporting children ages birth to 21 with complex medical needs.</p><p>If you love driving and want to make an impact, this is the position for you!<br> </p><p><strong><iframe height=\"176\" src=\"//www.youtube.com/embed/63pR_fdaPc4\" width=\"314\"></iframe><iframe height=\"176\" src=\"//www.youtube.com/embed/2frPQgTUwjc?t=1s\" width=\"314\"></iframe></strong></p><p><br><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Complete the Training program within 30 days of employment:<ul><li>Hands-on Training with another Driver</li><li>Online Training Course</li></ul></li><li>Transports clients to and from the contracted vendor and designated location, following a pre-planned route according to a definite time schedule; communicating in harmony with parents and staff.</li><li>Drives bus cautiously and in compliance with traffic regulations.</li><li>Assumes responsibility for the safety of all passengers in loading, unloading, and transporting them to and from a pre-determined designated location and the contracted vendor.</li><li>Is knowledgeable of Passenger Assistance guidelines and passenger restraint procedures.</li><li>Operate manual and remote-controlled wheelchair lifts.</li><li>Regulates heating equipment and ventilation of buses for the comfort of passengers.</li><li>Logs mechanical inspection (lights, tires, etc.) and cleanliness of vehicle on daily trip sheet; documenting findings or concerns.</li><li>Checks water, gas, oil, and mechanical condition of the bus weekly.</li><li>Reports delays and accidents immediately.</li><li>Reports defects or problems with vehicle to Director of Transportation immediately.</li><li>Keeps operational records and makes simple reports.</li><li>Assures bus meets regular maintenance schedules.</li><li>Performs related work as required, such as vehicle cleaning as needed.</li></ul><p><b>Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>Knowledge of traffic and highway safety rules and regulations, and of precautions necessary to avoid accidents.</li><li>Ability to complete various forms and records, including updated route sheets, timesheets, field trip forms, incident and accident reports, etc.</li><li>Ability to operate basic computer functions and smartphone devices. </li><li>Must be at least 21 years of age</li></ul>",
