Join our team and become a part of a company that values quality, service, and people. </p>\n<h2>Job Overview</h2>\n<p>This position is responsible for maintaining a safe work environment for all employees and insuring CTI locations comply with all OSHA regulations. Through analysis and investigations, define problem/opportunity areas; develop and implement training programs and policies to address the problem areas and meet OSHA requirements. In addition, this position may direct the new employee training programs.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<li>Ensure safety training of all site leadership and employees to ensure a thorough knowledge and understanding of safety rules, regulations and guidelines.</li>\n<li>Advise site leader on EHS compliance concerns and preventative actions.</li>\n<li>Develop/review site risk assessments and job hazard analysis.</li>\n<li>Support and coordinate safety committee meetings and actions.</li>\n<li>Maintain/verify employee training records are up to date and accurate.</li>\n<li>Develop/Update/Implement EHS programs and training materials as needed.</li>\n<li>Manage and source PPE for site.</li>\n<li>Responsible for facility compliance with all OSHA, state and federal regulations. This includes implementing new programs within OSHA time frames.</li>\n<li>Report worker’s compensation claims to carrier and manage.</li>\n<li>Implement all OSHA standards and regulations in a timely manner, and maintain all necessary records for workers compensation, OSHA and any other records assigned.</li>\n<li>Accident investigations and review as well as provide analysis and recommendations to eliminate future accidents.</li>\n<li>Oversee company back-to-work programs for employees injured on the job.</li>\n<li>Assist engineering with EPA and environmental reporting and program development.</li>\n<li>Develop, implement and manage plant safety audit and inspection programs. Manage corrective/preventive action registers as part of the program.</li>\n<li>Responsible for the follow-up of safety related corrective actions to ensure they are executed and sustained. </li>\n<li>Establish and maintain accurate record keeping of inspections, procedures, and JSA’s.</li>\n<li>Work closely with production personnel and assist with environmental, health and safety issues.</li>\n<li>Complete daily, weekly and monthly testing and inspections for various EHS tasks.</li>\n<li>Provide global reporting and data analysis related to EHS metrics and corporate agenda.</li>\n<li>Provide expertise and support to other EHS personnel.</li>\n<li>Share and report on best practices or incidents with other sites.</li>\n<li>Perform routine and non-routine data evaluation for environmental, safety and health metrics and reports.</li>\n<li>Analyze trends from metrics and reports to implement new strategies for safety improvement.</li>\n<li>Manage department allocation of resources.</li>\n<li>Ability to support a flexible schedule.</li>\n<li>Perform other related duties as assigned.</li>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>What we need from you:</p>\n<p><strong>Technical Skills:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li>\n <li>Must possess leadership, presentation and training skills, organization, and planning abilities.</li>\n <li>Provide hands-on training and coaching of others.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>5 or more years in EHS with heavy focus on safety.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated experience significantly lowering recordable incident rates.</li>\n <li>Manufacturing experience.</li>\n <li>Intermediate to advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred But Not Required:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Safety or environmental degree</li>\n <li>EHS certification </li>\n <li>Food manufacturing </li>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year university preferred.</li>\n <li>Bilingual, English and Spanish</li>\n</ul>\n<p>What you'll receive from us:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Unlimited PTO*</li>\n <li>Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance</li>\n <li>Company Paid Life Insurance</li>\n <li>Telehealth Services</li>\n <li>401K Matching</li>\n <li>FSA & HSA available</li>\n <li>EAP and wellbeing support</li>\n <li>Tuition reimbursement program available</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>*Unlimited PTO requests are subject to approval and is subject to the current business needs of CTI Foods. </em></p>",
