Reporting directly to the Controller, this position ensures accurate invoice, compliant revenue recognition, and reliable financial reporting.</p><p>This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, private‑equity–backed environment, enjoys improving processes, and is looking to grow within a dynamic SaaS finance organization.</p><p></p><p><strong>Responsibilities include</strong>:</p><p>· Prepare, review, and issue accurate invoices across subscription, appraisal, and implementation revenue streams.</p><p>· Validate billing details against signed customer contracts.</p><p>· Maintain recurring billing schedules, manage renewals, and ensure timely, accurate billing cycles.</p><p>· Support monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue close activities, including journal entries.</p><p>· Maintain and reconcile deferred revenue schedules.</p><p>· Perform monthly reconciliations of revenue accounts and investigate variances.</p><p>· Support analyses of ARR/MRR movement, churn, expansions, and contract modifications.</p><p>· Identify opportunities to streamline and automate billing and revenue processes to improve accuracy and scalability.</p><p>· Contribute to financial systems improvements and process enhancements tied to PE‑driven growth initiatives (e.g., workflow automation, reporting visibility).</p><p>· Collaborate closely with the broader Finance & Accounting team to ensure timely close and accurate internal reporting.</p><p>· Prepare audit schedules and support internal and external audit requests.</p><p>· Respond to customer billing inquiries professionally and accurately.</p><p>An ideal candidate for this role will have the following abilities and traits:</p><p></p><p><strong>Skills and Ambitions:</strong></p><p>· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.</p><p>· 2–4+ years of experience in billing, revenue operations, or accounting.</p><p>· Strong understanding of SaaS subscription models, contract billing, and revenue processes.</p><p>· Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, lookups) with strong analytical skills.</p><p>· High attention to detail and strong problem‑solving abilities.</p><p>· Experience in a PE‑backed, high‑growth SaaS environment preferred.</p><p>· Hands‑on experience with ERP, CRM, or billing platforms (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce).</p><p>· Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.</p><p></p><p>Vision provides a compensation and benefits package that is competitive with other leading technology companies and includes paid time off (PTO), an attractive employee health insurance plan, a 401k plan, and more.</p><p></p><p><strong>Pay Range:</strong> $85-95k + bonus based on experience</p><p></p><p><strong>Job Type:</strong> Full Time; Remote with a preference for Eastern Time Zone location</p><p><em><strong>Equal Employment Opportunity</strong></em></p>\n\n<p><em>Vision Government Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer and committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
