As an Infrastructure Storage Engineer, you will be working as a member of an integrated team responsible for design, support and maintenance of Data Storage Systems and Peripherals for the United States Air Force Test Operations and Sustainment efforts.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><em>Open to internal and external candidates. The selected candidate for this requisition may be required to</em></strong><strong><em> occasionally</em></strong> (<strong><em>e.g. application upgrades) work outside normal business hours.</em></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p>\n<p>Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) is the team selected by the U.S. Air Force to conduct Test and Operations Sustainment at the Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC) at Arnold Air Force Base in Tennessee.  AEDC operates more than 55 aerodynamic and propulsion wind tunnels, rocket and turbine engine test cells, space environmental chambers, arc heaters, ballistic ranges and other specialized units located in six states. Many of the complex's test units have capabilities unmatched elsewhere in the United States; some are unique in the world. AEDC is one of three installations which are part of the Air Force Test Center (AFTC), one of six subordinate commands of the Air Force Materiel Command organization, and an important national resource.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>AEDC’s mission is to conduct developmental tests and evaluations for the Nation through modeling, simulation, and ground and flight tests.  Execution of the mission requires a large team of highly qualified and dedicated professionals from multiple technical disciplines to effectively accomplish the objectives of our test customers.</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>Job Duties:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Design, implement, and manage storage solutions including NetApp, SpectraLogic, Versity ScoutAM, VMware, RedHat OpenShift, HPE DMF, and related technologies. </li>\n <li>Configure and maintain SAN infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability.</li>\n <li>Manage and maintain LTO tape libraries for deep storage, data backup and archival purposes.</li>\n <li>Analyze, Deploy and maintain requirements driven storage solutions, involving Block, File, Object and Linear Tape IO.</li>\n <li>Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve storage-related issues promptly and efficiently to maintain high availability and integrity.</li>\n <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of storage solutions with other IT infrastructure components.</li>\n <li>Administer Red Hat Linux servers and OpenShift environments to support the stability and security of our storage systems.</li>\n <li>Maintain detailed documentation for storage configurations, processes, and procedures.</li>\n <li>Stay up to date with industry trends and technologies and advise leadership of available options when evolution and refresh are necessary.</li>\n <li>Work with the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) to ensure compliance with information assurance regulations and best practices.</li>\n <li>Ensure Cybersecurity requirements are consistently documented, maintained, evaluated and compliant for Air Force IT system networks including components of systems.</li>\n <li>Must currently possess or commit to obtaining any requisite certifications required for assuming administrative role in accordance with DoD 8140 within 6 months of hiring date.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned by supervisor.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Basic Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in IT-related field</li>\n <li>Grade 08: 5 years of progressively relevant IT-related experience; in lieu of Bachelor’s degree must have 9 years of relevant IT-related experience.</li>\n <li>Grade 09: 8 years of progressively relevant IT-related experience; in lieu of Bachelor’s degree must have 12 years of relevant IT-related experience.</li>\n <li>Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance and access to the AEDC local area network.</li>\n <li>Current U. S.
