From managing daily tasks to developing employees, you’ll play a hands-on role in driving efficiency and growth.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities and Qualifications</h2>\n<strong><u>Key Responsibilities</u></strong>\n<strong>Warehouse Operations & Maintenance</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Manage all warehouse activities in support of operations including maintenance of building and grounds, receiving, storing, picking, delivering, shipping materials, and inside/outside sales support</li>\n <li>Maintain the appearance of the warehouse in a safe and orderly manner</li>\n <li>Maintain a full understanding of all products by identification, weight, and size</li>\n <li>Verify truck loads for accuracy and completeness</li>\n <li>Maintain a basic knowledge of trucks, forklifts, and other equipment to determine necessary repairs</li>\n <li>Maintain overall knowledge of team activities and identify and take corrective action for problem areas</li>\n <li>Maintain a high level of customer focus</li>\n</ul> \n<strong>Safety</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment</li>\n <li>Follow all safety protocols and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements</li>\n <li>Use proper lifting techniques</li>\n <li>Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, safety shoes, and clothing</li>\n</ul> \n<strong>Leadership & Supervision</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Supervise direct reports to ensure warehouse duties and responsibilities are completed accurately, timely, and in accordance with company standards</li>\n</ul> \n<strong>Customer Service & Sales</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Establish, build, and maintain customer relationships</li>\n <li>Maintain professional and courteous contact with customers before, during, and after a sale</li>\n</ul> \n<strong>Additional Responsibilities & Miscellaneous</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform other duties as assigned to support branch and corporate objectives</li>\n</ul>  \n<strong><u>Qualifications</u></strong>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience and/or training</li>\n <li>Preferred building supply warehouse and supervisory experience</li>\n <li>Understanding and knowledge of forklift operation</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Compensation and Benefits</h2>\n<p><strong><u>Reports To</u></strong></p>\n<p>Branch Manager</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong><u>Compensation</u></strong></p>\n<p>The listed pay range reflects the expected base rate for this position. Within the range, individual pay may vary based on experience, qualifications, and work location within state.
