    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The LVN provides direct patient care and works with other members of the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to patients in an office based setting.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Possess and maintain a State Licensed Practical Nursing license.</li>\n <li>Accurately calculate medication dosages. </li>\n <li>Assists the physicians and nurse practitioners as needed.</li>\n <li>Provides telephone triage and properly documents all patient, physician and other contacts.</li>\n <li>Participates in revenue cycle by ensuring authorizations and referrals are in place and notifying the Billing Associate of needs for further authorizations.</li>\n <li>Documents correct CPT and ICD-10 codes for services provided.</li>\n <li>Cleans, stocks, and prepares examination rooms. Keep rooms comfortable for patients, physicians and nurse practitioners.</li>\n <li>Monitors medical supply inventory.</li>\n <li>Maintains patient confidentiality.</li>\n <li>Communicates effectively and courteously with and demonstrates a caring attitude toward patients and their families.</li>\n <li>Treats all patients and their families with dignity and respect.</li>\n <li>Uses standards of patient satisfaction as a measure of effectiveness.</li>\n <li>Follows universal precautions and OSHA standards.</li>\n <li>Performs other assigned duties as directed.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><em>Education Level: </em> LVN state license required.<em>                                            </em></p>\n<p><em>Experience Years:  2+ y</em>ear’s experience in pediatric nursing in office environment preferred.
