    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Summary:</span></span></span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">The ideal candidate will have significant estimating and quantity take-off experience for site work, paving, concrete, and underground utilities related to institutional, commercial, and industrial construction projects.  Prior experience with civil construction subcontractors, significant individual-performance, and AGTEK estimating software proficiency is strongly preferred.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Essential Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Understand and Analyze detailed bid specifications, schematics, and drawings</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Prepare accurate estimates/packages for projects  </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Assist Operations with scheduling, job layout, and change order preparation </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Track progress of multiple bids and bid results</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Oversee and manage change orders during project progression</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Oversee and manage project closeouts at completion</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Deliver accurate and timely estimates/bid proposals to clients</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Maintain positive relations with clients, subcontractors, and vendors</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Communicate effectively with other departments and team members </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Some local travel to review bids and inspect current conditions at job sites</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Five to seven years' experience in construction within an individual-performance environment</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Some college-level construction management study preferred</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Proficient knowledge of earthwork, underground utilities, concrete, and asphalt</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Experience with estimating and design software (B2W, AGTEK, AutoCad, PlanSwift)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">General knowledge of construction equipment applications</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Create and maintain relationships with colleagues, clients, subcontractors, and vendors</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Must possess strong verbal, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Work with peers in a team environment</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Demonstrated knowledge of geotechnical skills</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Excellent organizational and time management skills</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Proficient with Microsoft Excel and strong computer skills</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Valid Driver's License</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">All work is local.
