This position offers the opportunity to work on a wide variety of site development and municipal infrastructure projects across multiple market sectors.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As a Project Engineer, you will support the design and delivery of complex civil engineering projects while collaborating across disciplines and mentoring junior staff. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Prepare conceptual, preliminary, and final site design plans for commercial, institutional, and public projects.</li>\n <li>Develop grading, drainage, utility, and stormwater management designs using applicable local and state standards.</li>\n <li>Prepare and review construction documents, technical specifications, cost estimates, and permit applications.</li>\n <li>Coordinate project design activities with internal disciplines, subconsultants, and clients.</li>\n <li>Perform hydrologic and hydraulic calculations for stormwater conveyance and detention systems.</li>\n <li>Develop erosion control and regulatory compliance plans in accordance with IDEM and municipal requirements.</li>\n <li>Mentor and assist junior engineers and CAD designers, ensuring technical accuracy and adherence to standards.</li>\n <li>Provide technical support during permitting and construction administration phases.</li>\n <li>Participate in project meetings with clients, contractors, and review agencies.</li>\n <li>Perform other related duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE required).</li>\n <li>Registered Professional Engineer (PE) preferred, but not required</li>\n <li>Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in civil/site design or municipal infrastructure.</li>\n <li>Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design software.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of IDEM, DOT, and local stormwater and utility standards.</li>\n <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills for client and team interaction.</li>\n <li>Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Physical Demands</strong></p>\n<p>The physical demands described here are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.
