    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px; font-weight: bold\">This Job is Open Until Filled</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px; font-weight: bold\">One (1)  Full-time position (40 hours a week)</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px; font-weight: bold\">and one (1) Part-time position (up to 35 hours a week)</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold\">Job Summary:</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">Under the supervision of the Transit Program Manager, successful applicants will inspect transit vehicles and transport passengers safely and efficiently on fixed route or on-demand public transit system, complete required paperwork as necessary Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">• Inspect and operate Tribal Transit vehicles for the purpose of transporting passengers</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">• Assists passengers in boarding and alighting bus, operation of ramps and wheelchair lifts as necessary</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">• Assists in the loading and unloading of passenger baggage and other items as necessary</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">• Inspects and maintains Tribal Transit vehicles insuring safe operating conditions</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">• Maintain professional image and provide excellent customer service</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">• Assure that required fares are deposited in fare box and provide customer information as needed</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">• Maintain records and complete all required paperwork</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">• Comply with and promote safe practices in compliance with all Federal, State and local laws rules and guidelines. SKILLS REQUIRED:</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">• High School diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the position</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">• Must possess valid Arizona Commercial Driver’s license with Passenger Endorsement and be eligible to be placed on the Tribe’s Insurance</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">• Must demonstrate proficiency in Pre and Post Trip inspections</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">• Must have and maintain excellent attendance record</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">• Must maintain positive and professional work environment</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">• Must be able to pass mandatory drug screen and DOT physical prior to offer of employment</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">• Must have a fingerprint clearance card or obtain one before hired</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">• Must pass a background check</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">• Position requires physical effort such as walking, lifting (up to 40 pounds), standing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, assisting passengers with bags, assisting passengers with</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">and securing wheelchairs or other mobility devices</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">• Position requires sitting for some length of time with constant head, arm, hand and foot movement</span><br><br><span style=\"font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold\">PREFERENCE:</span><br><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">All applicants are considered without regard to age, sex, race, national origin, religion, marital status, or physical disability.
