          "text": "<p>The Board Development Coach’s primary goals are to support the functions within the Aparecio Foundation by motivating and energizing the board members around the Foundation’s goals. In addition, the position will require this person to serve as a liaison able to maintain open communication between the Executive Director and the board members. This will require keeping goals and expectations clear, occasionally presenting information to the board from the Executive Director, and serving as a mediator when necessary.</p><p></p><p>Description of Duties / Responsibilities:<br /><br />• Develop goals and expectations strategic to the Foundation.<br />• Maintain open communication of goals to board members.<br />• Maintain attention and contribution of board members.<br />• Encourage all board members toward executing action plan and other goals.<br />• Assist with recruitment of new board members when necessary.<br />• Provide board members with required motivation and probable individual improvements required to achieve desired Foundation goals.<br />• Manage flow of communication between Executive Director and board members.<br />• Carry out tasks required by the Executive Director for board-related activities.<br />• Provide information to board members by opening meetings when necessary.<br />• Present information to board on behalf of the Executive Director.<br />• Serve as mediator for the Executive Director and board members when necessary.<br />• Serve as liaison between the Aparecio Foundation Executive Director and board members.<br />• Conduct assessments of attitudes found among board members (on topics such as the<br />foundation, their individual role, and contributions to the board and Foundation).<br />• Attend all board meetings and conferences with the Executive Director and board members.</p>",
