With competitive pay and benefits, safe and stable work, and an environment that is caring and supportive, <strong>National Beef could become your next career move!</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Competitive wages and benefits:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Starting Wage for Maintenance positions is $23.55</strong><strong> per hour</strong></li>\n <li>Family friendly Health benefits</li>\n <li>Paid vacation</li>\n <li>Paid holidays</li>\n <li>Employee meat purchase program</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Maintenance Technician position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Fixing and maintaining mechanical equipment, buildings, and machines</li>\n <li>Rebuilding, repairing, and/or replacing equipment/machinery/parts</li>\n <li>Performing preventative maintenance</li>\n <li>Installing equipment/machinery/parts</li>\n <li>Inspecting and troubleshooting equipment and systems</li>\n <li>Creating daily activity reports</li>\n <li>Collaboration with management and other departments regarding maintenance issues throughout the facility</li>\n</ul>\n<p>This is a safety sensitive position.  This is an on-site position.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Qualified candidates for the Maintenance Technician position should possess the following:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Mechanical skills and understanding of basic machine functions</li>\n <li>Ability to use common tools such as hammers, saws, drills, and wrenches</li>\n <li>Basic computer skills</li>\n <li>Willingness to work and be on time when scheduled</li>\n <li>Ability to read, write and speak English preferred</li>\n <li>Strong work ethic and eye for detail</li>\n <li>Exemplary safety record (with previous employer)</li>\n <li>Strong communication skills, both written and verbal</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>The following experience is preferred but not required:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ammonia/Refrigeration systems</li>\n <li>Electrical</li>\n <li>Food processing</li>\n <li>General knowledge of plant layout and production floor equipment and processes</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Must be at least 18 years of age or older.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship at this time.</p>\n<h2>Company Overview</h2>\n<p>National Beef is a leader in producing fresh, chilled and further processed beef products for customers in the U.S. and worldwide.
