This role brings deep focus to the consumers of data, ensuring that Tableau and related BI tools are fully leveraged to drive actionable insights, improve decision-making, and elevate the user experience.</p><p></p><p>As a Product Owner III - BI you will be instrumental in:</p><ul><li>Unlocking the full potential and ROI of Tableau investments</li><li>Driving adoption through effective change enablement strategies</li><li>Expanding AI-driven capabilities within the BI ecosystem</li><li>Delivering impactful, user-centered data products that empower ALSAC fundraisers</li></ul><p></p><p>The Product Owner III - BI is responsible for defining and executing the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a portfolio of BI capabilities and applications. This role requires a strong balance of strategic thinking, technical acumen, and stakeholder engagement to deliver innovative, scalable, and high-value solutions.</p><p></p><h2><b>Key Responsibilities</b></h2><p></p><h3><b>Strategic Leadership &amp; Product Vision</b></h3><ul><li>Define and drive the strategic vision and direction for BI products, aligned with ALSAC’s fundraising and data strategy objectives</li><li>Develop and maintain a 3-year product roadmap, ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities and emerging technologies (including AI/ML capabilities within Tableau)</li><li>Identify opportunities to maximize Tableau ROI through increased adoption, advanced functionality, and improved user experiences</li><li>Leverage market trends, competitive intelligence, and industry best practices to evolve BI capabilities</li></ul><p></p><h3><b>Product Management &amp; Delivery</b></h3><ul><li>Own and manage the product backlog, prioritizing features based on business value, user impact, and technical feasibility</li><li>Translate business needs into clear, actionable user stories and functional requirements</li><li>Coordinate and oversee product releases, ensuring quality, timeliness, and stakeholder alignment</li><li>Ensure compliance with data quality, governance, and information security standards</li><li>Partner with Architecture, Platform Leadership, and InfoSec to ensure scalable and secure solutions</li></ul><p></p><h3><b>User Experience &amp; Adoption</b></h3><ul><li>Champion a user-centered design approach, creating intuitive and impactful Tableau dashboards and analytics experiences</li><li><span>Build report and visualization prototypes through wireframes with metrics, chart types, layout, and possible interactivity to communicate product direction</span></li><li>Lead and participate in usability testing, incorporating feedback into continuous product improvement</li><li>Drive change management and adoption strategies, increasing effective use of Tableau across the organization</li><li>Enable stakeholders through training, documentation, and communication of business value</li></ul><p><b>​</b></p><h3><b>Stakeholder Engagement &amp; Communication</b></h3><ul><li>Build strong, trust-based relationships with business stakeholders, fundraisers, and leadership</li><li>Act as a translator between business and technical teams, ensuring clarity and alignment</li><li>Communicate product value, roadmap progress, and feature enhancements clearly and consistently</li><li>Facilitate discussions and resolve conflicts related to scope, priorities, and design decisions</li></ul><p>​</p><h3><b>Operational Excellence</b></h3><ul><li>Manage day-to-day product operations, including:<ul><li>Product health and performance metrics (KPIs, usage, adoption)</li><li>Product and project status reporting</li><li>Vendor and contractor engagement</li></ul></li><li>Conduct industry and competitive analysis to inform product evolution</li><li>Ensure adherence to Agile/Scrum best practices and modern product management methodologies</li></ul><p></p><h3><b>Leadership &amp; Mentorship</b></h3><ul><li>Lead and mentor<b> </b>other Product Owners and cross-functional team members</li><li>Influence without authority across teams, fostering alignment and collaboration</li><li>Provide thought leadership in BI, Tableau, and data product management</li></ul><p></p><h2><b>Qualifications</b></h2><p></p><h3><b>Required Experience &amp; Skills</b></h3><ul><li>6&#43; years of experience in product management, product ownership, or related IT roles</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Product Development, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)</li><li>Strong experience with Tableau or similar BI/data visualization platforms</li><li>Solid background in data, analytics, or business intelligence</li><li>Proven ability to define product strategy, roadmap planning, and delivery execution</li><li>Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and modern software delivery practices</li><li>Knowledge of change management and adoption strategies</li><li>Strong business and technical acumen with an enterprise mindset</li></ul><p></p><p><span>This position is based at ALSAC’s National Executive Office in Memphis, TN and is eligible for a hybrid work schedule.</span></p><p></p><p></p><h1><b><span class=\"emphasis-2\"><u>Benefits &amp; Perks</u></span></b></h1><h2><i>The following Benefits &amp; Perks apply to<b> </b><u>Full-Time Roles </u><u>Only<b>.</b></u></i></h2><h2><i><span>We’re dedicated to ensuring children and their families have every opportunity to enjoy life’s special moments.
