This role will work closely with the documentation and mechanical engineering teams to understand current workflows, improve documentation systems, and identify opportunities to leverage AI for increased efficiency.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">This position offers the opportunity to learn core engineering tools and methodologies while contributing to process improvement initiatives.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>&nbsp;<u>Core Responsibilities Include</u></strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Digitize and organize existing mechanical engineering documentation, including drawings, manuals, and technical procedures</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Shadow the documentation engineering process to understand workflows and identify inefficiencies</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist in developing structured, standardized, and searchable digital documentation systems</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Support initiatives to evaluate and implement AI tools for documentation automation and process improvement</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Collaborate with engineers to capture and formalize undocumented knowledge into standardized formats</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist with CAD modeling and drawing updates under guidance</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Learn and apply fundamentals of GD&amp;T (Geometric Dimensioning &amp; Tolerancing) in engineering documentation</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Support basic FEA (Finite Element Analysis) activities and simulation preparation</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Document processes, findings, and recommendations for continuous improvement initiatives</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist documentation of Acme 3D printing, milling, and cNc equipment.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><u>Experience / Qualifications</u></strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">To perform this role successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
