Candidate will assist providers in the delivery of dental care. Other responsibilities are as follows: assist provider in Restorative, Prosthodontics, Endodontics, Oral Surgery procedures and any other procedures allowed by the WA Dental Practice Act. We are looking for someone with engaging communication, interpersonal skills and has the ability to maintain a high level of professionalism in a fast pace environment. Candidates bilingual in English/Spanish are highly preferred.<br><br><strong>Duties and responsibilities:&#160;</strong></p><ul><li>Greet, seat, and depart patients, being courteous and professional at all times, especially when<br>talking to patients or discussing confidential information.</li><li>Provide patient education and instructions to patients before, after, and during any dental<br>procedure.</li><li>Participate in scheduling appointments arriving, and departing patients in Dentrix and registering<br>patient in Allscripts PM.</li><li>Have the ability to complete thorough, accurate charting in Dentrix using S.O.A.P. or P.A.R.T.S.<br>format.</li><li>Obtain accurate blood pressure readings and other vital signs as directed by Dental Provider.</li><li>Maintain proper sterilization methods and OSHA regulations in all clinic areas including<br>treatment rooms and the sterilization areas</li></ul><p><strong>Education and/or Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>Applicant must have a valid Washington&#160;State Dental Assistant license</li><li>Basic life support (BLS) certification</li><li>Organizational skills</li><li>Dental assisting education or experience</li><li>Familiarity with the utilization of computers</li><li>Excellent customer service skills required</li><li>Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required&#160;</li></ul><p><strong>How to Apply:</strong></p><p>To apply for this position, complete the online application and click SUBMIT or APPLY NOW.
