Some locations are located on the bus route.  Locations that are not easily accessible by the bus route, include North Syracuse, and Jamesville.  Full time and part time positions are available at the following locations:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Bernardine - Syracuse</p>\n<p>Buckley Landing - North Syracuse</p>\n<p>Heritage - Syracuse</p>\n<p>Nottingham - Jamesville</p>\n<p>Sedgwick - Syracuse</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We offer a competitive wage, mileage reimbursement, tuition reimbursement, a free employee health center, health/dental insurance, and opportunities for career and personal growth.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>WHAT CAN LORETTO OFFER ME?</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>A dedicated, caring and passionate Loretto family, ready to support you and provide opportunity!</li>\n <li>A fun environment, including recognition events and opportunities to learn and advance your career within the healthcare industry.</li>\n <li>Healthcare benefits for qualifying full time and part time employees upon hire!</li>\n <li>Upon successful completion of the program, a stipend for uniforms will be given yearly </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>WHAT DOES A HOME HEALTH AIDE DO?</strong></p>\n<p>As a Certified <strong>Home Health Aide (HHA)</strong>, supporting the mission of Loretto, will include the following responsibilities:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide health care tasks to serve Loretto residents, including, personal hygiene services, housekeeping tasks, and other related support services essential to the residents’ health</li>\n <li>Work with Loretto’s clinical team to record and report changes regarding the resident’s physical condition, behavior, or appearance</li>\n <li>Perform light housekeeping duties including cooking, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, & sweeping</li>\n <li>Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming</li>\n <li>Assist with transfer and ambulation including the use of a cane, walker, and wheelchair</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Able to read, write, speak the English language and follow written directions.</li>\n <li>Able to demonstrate completion of medication training requirements -able to pass medication competency tests including a written exam and Medication Administration Test/Cart Quiz.</li>\n <li>Able to work under supervision, know limits of job description, and learn skills as required. Participates in at least 12 hours of in-service education per year to maintain certification. </li>\n <li>Able to understand and carry out directions and instructions; ability to report changes in client’s condition and other pertinent information. </li>\n <li>Able to accurately record information and maintain basic records. </li>\n <li>Possess the emotional and mental maturity and stability to care for the frail elderly and other disabled or compromised clients in their “home” environment; ability to deal tactfully with clients, families, other support persons and members of the health care team. </li>\n <li>Able to follow guidelines established by Loretto’s Customer Service as presented at Loretto Orientation. </li>\n <li>Ability to plan, prioritize, organize work tasks and carry out ongoing care plan. </li>\n <li>Must be 18 years or older. </li>\n <li>10.
