In the Investor Accountant role,&nbsp;</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>You'll be:</strong></p><ul><li>Reconciling GSE Custodial P&amp;I and T&amp;I accounts. Preparing reconciliations of general ledger and bank accounts, including balancing, research, and timely resolution of reconciling items.</li><li>Researching, resolving, and clearing GSE exceptions, including all hard and soft reject findings to resolution.&nbsp;</li><li>Monitoring compliance with investor reporting and accounting, as well as generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures.</li><li>Facilitating audit requests by gathering, validating, and providing documentation for GSE and other Investor Internal and External audits as needed.&nbsp;</li><li>Monitoring P&amp;I Custodial accounts to ensure accurate processing of monthly advances, recoupments, and Investor remittance. Reports payoffs, loan modifications, and corrections to GSEs accurately and timely.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>You'll have the opportunity to:</strong></p><ul><li>Cross-train and learn more than a just one accounting function.</li><li>Showcase your ingenuity to increase the quality and efficiency of accounting functions.</li><li>Solve problems by using your analytical and organizational skills to predict and resolve issues.</li><li>Collaborate with direct members of a team, as well as others within the organization.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>You'll have:</strong></p><ul><li>At least three (3) years of experience in investor accounting.</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or equivalent experience.</li><li>Strong organizational skills aiding your ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, highly regulated, and deadline-driven environment.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, professional verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel (pivot tables and v-lookups).</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Who We Are&nbsp;</strong></p><p>We are Mortgage Center and a CUSO – Credit Union Service Organization.
