This position will perform the duties described in the job description below and will be considered an Exempt employee.\\r\\n\\r\\nJob Duties:\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n\\tLead the Mechanical Engineering team at Canonsburg to ensure documents and deliverables developed by the team are released within schedule, are accurate, and consistent with respect to project requirements &amp; specifications. \\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n&nbsp;\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n\\tEnsure AIC Engineering interface requirements are defined with the ASA / ICD / AEC groups for jobs that are jointly engineered (PWT and ZLD projects).\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n&nbsp;\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n\\tAttend Order Transfer and Turnover meetings for projects to be engineered from AIC and obtain clarity in terms of scope clarity, specification requirements &amp; agreements made to customers. \\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n&nbsp;\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n\\tAttend design review meetings for AIC-engineered jobs and Design review II (pre-Manufacturing meeting) with the Shop.\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n&nbsp;\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n\\tAttend weekly review meetings with the Head of Engineering to go over the status of deliverables and take necessary actions to ensure the schedules are met.\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n&nbsp;\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n\\tAttend weekly Project Review meetings for projects engineered at AIC.\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n&nbsp;\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n\\tInterface with purchasing &amp; vendors to discuss/explain technical issues &amp; provide clarifications &amp; solutions.\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n&nbsp;\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n\\tSpecification reviews for Applications (Pressure Vessels, Structural &amp; Piping) for critical bids &amp; develop layouts, IBOMs to applications for estimation (specific bids only)\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n&nbsp;\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n\\tWork with the other Mechanical groups in Aquatech &amp; participate in efforts to establish common procedures and practices.\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n&nbsp;\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n\\tParticipate in the CAR process to communicate issues and corrective actions to the ASA/AIC team and ensure compliance.\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n&nbsp;\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n\\tAttending meetings with customers as and when required.
