About Us
Valor Healthcare is a veteran- and physician-led provider of healthcare services for deserving, resilient patriots – those who serve or have served in the military as well as those who devote their careers to federal government service. We aim to deliver high-quality care in a way that upholds the health of our nation’s greatest asset: its people. Valor works hard to earn the trust of those who have faith in us to care for them with respect and through methods that lead to superior clinical outcomes.
Valor is different because of our people.
Our leadership team is comprised of veteran, clinician, and business leaders dedicated to providing exceptional care and a world-class patient experience for our nation’s patriots. Many of our colleagues have patriots in their families or are patriots themselves, building a company culture and commitment to customer service that is second to none. Position Summary
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as an HR partner to organizational leadership and field operations, driving initiatives that strengthen culture, workforce effectiveness, and compliance across a multi-site environment. This role brings advanced expertise in employee relations, HR law, and organizational effectiveness to proactively identify workforce risks, lead complex investigations, and develop forward-looking HR strategies. Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, the HRBP operates with a high degree of autonomy and serves as a trusted advisor to leaders across the organization.
Core Responsibilities
• Serves as a consultative partner to organizational and operational leadership on complex employee relations matters, organizational design, change management, and workforce planning.
• Identifies systemic employee relations trends through data analysis and recommends targeted, scalable interventions to strengthen engagement, culture, and retention across multiple sites.
• Anticipates and proactively mitigates workforce and compliance risks before they escalate, applying professional judgment and a deep understanding of employment law and organizational dynamics.
• Champions continuous improvement of HR policies, practices, and procedures; evaluates and ensures alignment with applicable laws, regulations, and organizational precedents.
• Leads complex employee relations investigations with independence and objectivity, including matters involving discrimination, harassment, policy violations, and workplace conflict.
• Prepares well-reasoned responses to charges of discrimination or harassment in collaboration with HR leadership and legal partners.
• Serves as a subject matter expert on federal and state employment law, including FLSA, FMLA, EEO-1, ADA, and Affirmative Action requirements.
