The ideal candidate is a certified paralegal with 3+ years of experience in litigation, defense-side practice, and insurance claims. This role is based in our New York office on a hybrid schedule, requiring in-office days every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.</p>\n<h2>What You'll Do</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Preparing pleadings</li>\n <li>Document review</li>\n <li>Legal research</li>\n <li>Calendaring</li>\n <li>Case tracking, managing, and organizing</li>\n <li>Deposition summarizing</li>\n <li>Medical record request and summarizing</li>\n <li>Medicare querying and reporting</li>\n <li>Court filing - ECF NY State and Federal; NJ a plus</li>\n <li>Updating databases with case details</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You Bring</h2>\n<p><strong>Qualifications / Requirements of the Senior Litigation Paralegal:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Paralegal Certificate and bachelor’s degree</li>\n <li>3 or more years paralegal experience</li>\n <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, as well as LexisNexis</li>\n <li>Knowledge of NY/NJ procedural rules</li>\n <li>Detail-orientated</li>\n <li>Excellent written and verbal skills</li>\n <li>Legal calendaring experience</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently, but also be a team player</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What We Offer</h2>\n<p><strong>Salary range:</strong> $65k-$80k, commensurate with experience</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Benefits/Perks</strong>:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>medical benefits (medical, dental, vision, life insurance)</li>\n <li>401(k)</li>\n <li>PTO and vacation time</li>\n <li>Paid Holidays</li>\n <li>Job Type: Full-time, on-site</li>\n</ul>\n<p>#INDBG</p>",
