    "description": "<p>The Commercial Studio is seeking a skilled and experienced <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Project Manager</span> to lead multi-disciplinary project teams and support the delivery of complex, public-sector architecture projects. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational insight, technical knowledge, and the ability to create momentum—through planning, communication, and accountability—across design and consultant teams.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>You will balance strategic thinking with tactical execution, ensuring architectural solutions align with client needs, budgets, and regulatory constraints. You should be equally comfortable managing processes and motivating people, navigating both the administrative and human dimensions of project delivery.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>We’re looking for someone who values thoughtful leadership, knows how to listen before acting, and is invested in helping others do their best work. The ability to engage constructively, guide conversations with intention, and mentor others while seeing the bigger picture, guiding the team toward milestone completion on time and on budget, is key.</p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead client-focused project teams through all phases, from concept through construction closeout</li>\n<li>Translate client goals into actionable project plans that guide team structure, scope, and schedule</li>\n<li>Coordinate internal and consultant teams, clearly defining tasks, deliverables, and roles</li>\n<li>Manage scope, schedule, and budget throughout the life of a project</li>\n<li>Track performance against project milestones and provide clear, timely updates to stakeholders</li>\n<li>Anticipate project risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies</li>\n<li>Ensure high-quality documentation, coordination, and compliance with all project requirements</li>\n<li>Maintain awareness of client expectations, industry best practices, and quality standards</li>\n<li>Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance feedback for project team members</li>\n<li>Participate in strategic discussions related to studio operations and project delivery methods</li>\n<li>Bring curiosity and accountability to everything—from design meetings to project administration<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field</li>\n<li>7–12 years of experience managing design-related projects, including coordination with consultants and contractors</li>\n<li>Strong working knowledge of project delivery methods, regulatory processes, fee structures, and construction phases</li>\n<li>Proficiency in project management and architectural tools such as Deltek, Revit, MS Office Suite, and Bluebeam</li>\n<li>Advanced communication and negotiation skills with the ability to lead conversations and resolve issues collaboratively</li>\n<li>PMP certification (preferred but not required)</li>\n<li>Applicants must reside near Albuquerque, Phoenix, or El Paso</li>\n<li>Authorization to work in the U.S. (Dekker is unable to provide sponsorship)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222; font-size: 15px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #222222; font-size: 15px\">Dekker offers competitive benefits and salary packages based on education and experience.
