    "description": "<p><strong>Easterseals Western and Central Pennsylvania </strong>is a non-profit organization looking to hire a dynamic Level III or Level II Classroom Assistant to work with special needs children ages 3-8 years old at our West Mifflin, PA location.</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>POSITION-Classroom Assistant III or II</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<p><em>Classroom Assistant III </em></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Bachelor&#39;s Degree (Required)</li>\r\n\t<li style=\"text-align:justify;\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size:10pt;\">PA Professional Teaching Certificate in Special Education, Elementary Education, and/or Early Childhood Education (Required)</span></span></li>\r\n\t<li>Special Education Experience: 1 Year (Preferred)</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><em>Classroom Assistant II </em></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Associate Degree&nbsp;(Required)</li>\r\n\t<li>Special Education Experience: 1 Year (Preferred)</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Classroom Assistant</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li style=\"text-align:justify;\">Planning and implementing activities to enhance students&#39; skills.</li>\r\n\t<li style=\"text-align:justify;\">Assisting in implementing the student&#39;s IEP.</li>\r\n\t<li style=\"text-align:justify;\">Providing a safe and accepting classroom.</li>\r\n\t<li style=\"text-align:justify;\">Providing 1:1 instruction as needed.</li>\r\n\t<li style=\"text-align:justify;\">Assisting in the instructional program, integration program, and behavior management of students</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><strong>BENEFITS </strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li style=\"text-align:justify;\">Work hours are Monday - Friday, <strong>9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, 6-hour days. Working only 30 hours per week, with a typical school calendar of 9.5 months per year!
