All employees are expected to demonstrate the Company&rsquo;s core values.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>As a Landscape Operations Manager at Schill Grounds Management, you must be able to perform the following essential functions of the job:</p><ol style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Train and strictly enforce all safety procedures and policies.</li></ol><ol start=\"2\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Ensure work is performed to the level of quality required to completely satisfy each customer.</li></ol><ol start=\"3\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Participate in the company&rsquo;s Quality Control System.</li></ol><ol start=\"4\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Oversee training and certification activities.</li></ol><ol start=\"5\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Identify and work to improve lower-level performing crew leaders and crews.</li></ol><ol start=\"6\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Create capability within the crews through training, instruction, education, correction, and follow-up.</li></ol><ol start=\"7\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Ensure that no crew is dispatched without job hours, a clear scope of work, and proper equipment.</li></ol><ol start=\"8\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Ensure all crews are working productively and consistently with the company&rsquo;s Production System.</li></ol><ol start=\"9\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Ensure every crew has a plan that includes the proper scope, the proper sequence of tasks, the right number of people, the right personnel qualifications, training, and certification for the job, the right equipment, and man-hour targets.</li></ol><ol start=\"10\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Challenge the established job plans periodically and continuously improve the plans.</li></ol><ol start=\"11\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Create job plans for new jobs before work begins.</li></ol><ol start=\"12\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Identify low-performing jobs and re-plan the work to improve performance.</li></ol><ol start=\"13\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Develop crew schedules accounting for and optimizing job locations, equipment allocation, crew skills, customer preferences, most productive job timing, and job hours.</li></ol><ol start=\"14\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Support the mechanic&rsquo;s programs for Preventive Maintenance, repair procedures, safety and function inspections, and inventory systems.</li></ol><ol start=\"15\" style=\"list-style-type: decimal;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\"><span data-contrast=\"none\" lang=\"EN-US\" class=\"TextRun SCXW179610400 written and oral communication skills.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Ability to develop strong professional relationships with customers.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Must be self-motivated.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Must be a creative problem solver with the capacity to innovate.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Must be team oriented.</li></ul><p>Requirements</p><ul><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license with acceptable driving record to meet fleet insurance standards.</li><li>Ability to communicate in both English and Spanish is preferred.</li><li>Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test.</li><li>8 years of landscape experience, including 3 years as a manager, is preferred, but may be flexible based on other qualifications.</li><li>Knowledge of local turf types, shrubs, groundcover, and seasonal color materials, including growth characteristics, appropriate maintenance techniques, and most common issues</li><li>Strong computer skills and the ability to adapt to new software programs.</li><li>Must be able to move and/or lift up to 60 pounds consistently.</li></ul><p><br></p><p
