The Fitness Center enhances the mission by helping students, faculty, &amp; staff engage in healthy lifestyle practices, encouraging cardiovascular and muscular fitness.</p>\n<p>This role provides quality customer service and maintains a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for all Fitness Center patrons. Primary responsibilities include greeting patrons, tracking attendance, cleaning &amp; organizing equipment, ensuring the safe use of all exercise equipment, educating patrons on Fitness Center usage policies, and assisting with spotting as needed. Moderate to heavy lifting is required to organize gym equipment. Must have strong interpersonal communication skills, the ability to work with a team, display time management skills, and professionalism.</p>\n<p>-Perform business operations duties for assigned area of responsibility&nbsp;<br>\n -Provide excellent customer service to patrons&nbsp;<br>\n -Ability to prioritize and take initiative&nbsp;<br>\n -Assist with various projects, activities, and tasks related to business operations&nbsp;<br>\n -Ability to comply with University policies&nbsp;<br>\n -Maintain regular and punctual attendance</p>\n<p><br>\n Note: The position is posted for Fall 2026/Spring 2027.<br>\n Applications are reviewed on an ongoing, as-needed basis throughout the semester.<br>\n &nbsp;</p>\n<p>Employer: Baylor University</p>\n<p>Work Location: McLane Student Life Center</p>\n<p>Work Address: 209 Speight Ave, Waco, TX</p>",
