We provide ongoing training and adhere to the highest safety standards.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Purpose:  The Water/Waste-Water Superintendent</span> is responsible for the timely completion of assigned project(s) and ensuring project is constructed in strict accordance with plans and specifications.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Own execution of project milestones; partner with and communicate progress and challenges to Project Manager.</li>\n<li>Drive short term schedule (3-week look ahead) and tie back to</li>\n<li>Communicate with subcontractors &amp; suppliers for aggregate, pipe, and drainage structure deliveries.</li>\n<li>Identify trucking needs and setup trucking as needed with trucking subcontractor</li>\n<li>Identify and drive critical path items, pertaining to overall schedule end</li>\n<li>Work with Field Operations Manager for manpower needs for critical path</li>\n<li>Partner with Project Manager to plan and communicate project phasing and</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Production/Quality Control</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Drive overall quality control from start to close</li>\n<li>Partner with estimator/preconstruction from start through project completion to understand how the project was estimated to maximize production.</li>\n<li>Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness; look for ways to improve and promote quality; monitor own work to ensure quality.</li>\n<li>Meets and works to beat productivity standards; completes work in a timely</li>\n<li>Direct labor, equipment, and subcontractors through project</li>\n<li>Coordinate and direct work in the field to ensure work is performed in accordance with plans and specifications.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Planning/Cost Management/Manhours</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborate with project manager on overall job cost</li>\n<li>Watch overall manhours and associated costs compared to</li>\n<li>Proactively work with warehouse personnel to schedule and return</li>\n<li>Proactively plan work to ensure project deadlines are met in accordance with</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Safety</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Adhere to OSHA/company safety requirements; create and maintain a safe work environment and hold team accountable to maintain high safety standards.</li>\n<li>Adopt and drive practice of all safety policies and procedures, and lead by</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\"><br></span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Leadership</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain professional appearance, including jobsite and</li>\n<li>Model appropriate and professional behaviors, attitudes, and</li>\n<li>Facilitate teamwork and harmony between all construction crews by promoting and fostering a positive attitude.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications/Experience:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>At least five years superintendent experience with a focus on Heavy civil construction a plus.</span></li>\n<li>Ability to read and interpret construction</li>\n<li>Strong organizational, leadership and decision-making</li>\n<li>Effective communication</li>\n<li>OSHA 30 Hour required</li>\n<li>Experience managing self-performed work, a plus</li>\n<li>Experience with Trimble Rovers, a plus</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Managed By:</span></span></p>\n<p>Project Director</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Physical Demands:</span></span> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work is performed outside in heat, cold and inclement</li>\n<li>Work site conditions can be loud at</li>\n<li>While performing the duties of this position, the employee will be required to stand, walk, kneel, climb, stoop and bend.</li>\n<li>Periodic lifting of 10 to 50</li>\n<li>Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust and focus.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>KCI is proud to be an Equal Opportunity and affirmative action employer regardless of race, color, gender, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, religious beliefs, material status, genetic information, national origin, disability or protection veteran status.</p>",
