We are offering the opportunity to work at an academic medical center in a rural environment. The PEDI-RCP will provide care in all CHAD areas including but not limited to: Intensive Care Nursery, Pediatric ICU, Pediatric Specialty Care, Birthing Pavilion, and Emergency Department.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<li>Performs all responsibilities as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.</li>\n<li>Assists in High-risk deliveries.</li>\n<li>Responds to OB Emergencies.</li>\n<li>Responds to Pediatric and Neonatal Code Blue, Pediatric Stat Airway Activations, and Pediatric Rapid Response Activations.</li>\n<li>Competent in the management of Mechanical Ventilation in Neonatal and small pediatric patient populations.</li>\n<li>Competent in the application and management of High Frequency Oscillator and the Jet ventilator.</li>\n<li>Maintains competency in the administration of surfactant to preterm infants.</li>\n<li>Competent in administration of nitrous oxide to pediatric patients for painful procedures.</li>\n<li>Completes NOEP during ICN orientation.</li>\n<li>Performs other duties as required or assigned.</li>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program</li>\n <li>Registered Respiratory Therapist via the NBRC</li>\n <li>Minimum of 2 years working in adult critical care or previous neonatal/pediatric critical care experience</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Required Licensure/Certifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Licensed in NH as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)</li>\n <li>Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)</li>\n <li>Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification upon hire</li>\n <li>Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification within 6 months of hire date.</li>\n <li>Neonatal Resuscitation Provider Certification within 6 months of hire date.</li>\n</ul>",
