Our mission has always been to provide our customers with the highest quality waste, recycling and environmental services, while keeping focus on employee, customer and environmental safety.</p>\n<p>What makes our company culture unique is we have mastered the ability to balance the standards of a large corporate company while maintaining our small business family style culture.</p>\n<h2>Essential Job Functions: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.</h2>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities Include:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Quickly and safely inspect offsite odor complaints in a reliable manner.</li>\n <li>Detect the different odors and their sources in the surrounding community.</li>\n <li>Perform traffic control such as guiding vehicles and equipment to appropriate areas, placing signs and cones for vehicle direction</li>\n <li>Effective communication with drivers, employees, and management via hand held radios and CBs</li>\n <li>Clean up of vehicles and equipment as needed</li>\n <li>Fuel vehicles and equipment</li>\n <li>Follow OSHA safety standards and wear required PPE</li>\n <li>Perform other duties assigned by manager as necessary, eg janitoral support, filing paperwork.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Requirements and Qualifications:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Valid driver’s license</li>\n <li>Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States</li>\n <li>Clean driving record</li>\n <li>Knowledge of basic GPS systems (Maps on IPhones)</li>\n <li>Basic data entry and record keeping.</li>\n <li>Conducting onsite and offsite inspections to ensure the landfill stays in compliance in regards to nuisance odors in the surrounding community.</li>\n <li>Light housekeeping duties onsite.</li>\n <li>Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds</li>\n <li>Able to work in an outdoor environment on a constant basis while being exposed to variable weather conditions, temperatures, chemicals, dust, fumes, smells, and loud noises.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Additional Information</h2>\n<p>We believe in providing the training and development you need to grow your career with IWS.
