Have you ever wanted to experience the ‘bottom of the earth’?  Join Kenn Borek Air (KBA)  as a Seasonal Employee or Contractor in a rotational position for the upcoming Antarctic Season– you tell us what works best for you. Offering 3 and 6 month agreement terms for Seasonal or Contract work; extended rotations available within the agreement terms. Experience Required on Aircraft Type: DC-3T or DHC-6 NO REQUIREMENT FOR RELOCATION Reporting to the Production Control Manager - Line, your role includes: Planning and performing aircraft maintenance in accordance with published procedures Ensuring that all replacement parts are inspected and properly certified prior to installation Assuring compliance with all regulatory and company policies and procedures Performing related duties as assigned by the supervisor Must hold a valid Transport Canada M1 and/or M2 AME license Current experience on aircraft type required Experience and ability to repair and maintain an aircraft in a polar environment Customer focus with a proven ability to work alone and as part of a team Manage workloads and work within fixed deadlines Good communication skills and positive attitude Able to obtain Transport Canada security clearances Pre-employment Drug and Alcohol screening, resulting in a negative test result, is a condition of employment. Screening is provided at KBA expense and will be conducted, where possible, on the first day of employment.
